I continue cleaning up my Larch (Larix laricina) Forest to get it ready for repotting in spring.

I think I remember Peter Chan cleaning lichen off a big larch with a pressure washer. I assume it survived.

Nigel, with the addition of those 5 the planting will have an odd number of trees and all the purists can relax and enjoy the forest! (I know I will😄)

It was just too thick and growing right out the branches into the area with the buds. I'm sure it will grow back again, It's nice to have some!!

I found the video. I just went to Peter's channel and searched for "Lichen". He cleaned several trees, including a very old larch. Looks very risky - not something I'd try.
