And then there's the squatted stance atrocity going on ALL of the variants of the Schafter, the Futo, the Asbo, the Washington... I seriously hope they give us adjustable and independent ride height as a customization option because they seems to lack the ability of not fixing cars with messed up stance like that.
It's sad that the Sedans class is slower than the SUV class overall. Rockstar seems to think that a Toyota Sienna would outperform an AMG S-Class and a Quattroporte.
I was excited to see the Offroads class next since there are a lot of cars there that are not raceable (the most in the entire game) but Sedans is an interesting class and could be more competitive with other sedan-style cars that were thrown into Sports like the Komoda, Revolter and V-STR. It is quite surprising that the Sedans class hasn't had an HSW car yet but I'm hoping they do give an HSW upgrade to something like the Primo or the Intruder in the middle of the class and make it competitive with the top of the class. This video also made me think that if we ever do get a Michael DLC, we may see him upgrade his car to the Tailgater S like how Franklin upgraded to the Buffalo STX in the Contract DLC (not confirmed but could be an interesting change).
Trevor has been in a few DLCs and never got a car upgrade. Michael may not get one but I'd assume Amanda and Tracy definitely do. Jizzle gets to stay on that fuck ass bike
@@x2Dubz True but Trevor was in the earlier DLCs that still occurred around the time of the story where as Franklin appeared 8 years later and is caught up in the times so I think Michael should as well.
Thank you for this and all other testing videos! I was already excited about this video when you told about the release in the stream. By far my favourite class, so many great cars. Would be cool if some sedans from the sports and coupe class were usable in sedans as well.
If you do the merge glitch with an HSW car, you can get the unselected level 5 engine upgrade on the Cinquemila. There’s a couple of other vehicles that have it like the Journey II, Tahoma Coupe, Sultan RS and Shinobi
Have you verified that it sticks? I remember back in the day you could mod a Sultan RS to have Engine Level 5 but then once you switched sessions or restarted the game it reverted to Level 4
@@Johnny362000 I have verified it sticks. It’s like unselected paint. You can also visibly tell with certain vehicles like the Tahoma (if you remove transmission and turbo upgrades) or on the journey II because the acceleration bar isn’t maxed out
I sure hope VI does a better job at the vehicle class system. Like, you have "Sports Classic" for example that include just about any vintage car from actual sports cars to classics that are not sports... then you also have the muscle class which should be obvious, but is vaguely defined. Only one class was ever added (open wheelers) but adding more would just make a rebalancing mess. So no wonder wagons need to be sedans.
If only R* did the same treatment for other sports sedans in the sports class (Jugular, Komoda, V-STR, Revolter...etc) as they did with the standard Schafter V12 & LWB...
Oh yeah, I surely love the 10 variants of Baller, R* surely needs to do the same for many other vehicles like the Deveste Eight, Ocelot F620 and the OP Mk2 👌
I genuinely have no idea. I even went back and compared the laps and the cornering was fine. It's just... quicker. All on the straights. Could've been a missed upgrade or something, that's the only thing I can explain it by unless it's had some back end change over the years.
@@broughy1322I'm willing to bet on subtle physics changes benefitting it. I say this because many many years ago in NoDo PC we had a Slow Sedans Championship starring the Glendale, Surge, Stratum, Asea, and Premier. Obviously comparisons won't be 1:1 due to framerate shenanigans but in general the Glendale was the weakest of the 5, with the Surge being pretty consistently fast and the Stratum being a monster when it could abuse kerb-boosts
It’s really disappointing how the Sedans class gets shafted in favor of the more flashier cars. Not even an HSW upgrade or even more than one sedan for an Imani Tech upgrade, the class feels abandoned.
All cars should have access to the performance HSW mods. It's pretty wild to me how high it sedans like the Schafter V12 can only clock like 125mph maxed out....In real life that thing can Crack 300km/h on the autobahn. Also the Stratum, that thing literally screams to anyone driving it that it should be much faster than it is.
Regina is a curse.. the herse is y'all the best slow car.. the Glendale is o k but probably more cars in this class that I wouldn't drive than any other tier
with a few exceptions it's literally the exact same as it always was: all cars in the class sorted in order of laptime. Those cars have just been put into groups based on their performance. What's hard to follow about that?
Some of the lower tiers with a single or very few vehicles could've easily been put together, or conversely some of the "spice picks" for the higher tiers could've been in a tier of their own. Too many different lower tiers for the average player to make a difference in lap times with those vehicles.
I find that difficult to believe, because the car physics we saw on the leaks were more or less on the middle ground between IV and V and that was a work in progress. Also the Tulip can't sustain a drift in GTA Online like it was shown on the trailer, so there's that too.

The Schafter v12 will always be one of my favorites. Won so many stunt races with it back when it was viable before the pariah
Seriously, the amount of work put into these videos is astonishing. Wonderful job, man.
The Quality of these vids blows me away everytime.
They really did just chuck everything into the sports class.
reminder that the warrener and HKR have messed up suspension, being poked out more on one side than the other ever so slightly.
that's not the suspension, that's the model being messed up

@@lobotomyscam1051 I never said it was coming, I said maybe. I'm at least trying to have some faith for a good ending to this game.
The Regina takes the L 😂

Worst in every aspect 💀

absolutely remarkable job from the Schafter V12, a lovely car to drive, massive top speed, and a 2015 gem.

Amazing effort to put these together!
I was expecting the new sedans like the Asterope GZ to put up a better lap time! Great video as always
great stuff, i like the sedans class
nice job, as usual
Perfect Timing ! I was just wondering when your next video will be uploaded !
Up Next : SUV'S, Compacts...
I am most excited for SUVs and Off Road to see how the Baller STD, Cavalcade XL and Terminus fit it! All the videos are great though!
SUVs next (in two weeks)
@@broughy1322 awesome. I want to emphasize that I have loved every single one of these, but that is great news!
When I tried out the Terminus around there, I managed like a 1.05 something, but I imagine someone else could go a bit faster
The Offroads video can't come soon enough... It should've been prioritized over the lesser used classes of coupes, sedans & SUVs.
Great testing and comparison.

I really think you should make a little behind the scenes video. Maybe a montage of clips of you doing the actual testing in real time.
The best part of the Rhinehart is that it is a wagon. But yeah, that Schafter V12 is still king.

I thought I am in S tier!!
Can we get an update for the suv class please 😊

Surprised the Unmarked Cruiser and Stanier LE didn’t make it in. Aren’t they sedans? Or will the Emergency class test do them justice?
Indeed they’re in the emergency class. They have nothing to do with the sedans class.
