I just ordered this car today, there is no options list on the GT 180 model, it has every possible option as standard, you only get to select the colour of the paint. After seeing this video I can't wait !!!

Nice driving!!looks pretty sporty but i am not convinced about the acceleration especially that now os available a new EAT8. Maybe with a dual clutch to be more quickly. Question: how is it feeling on a day to day driving?

Awesome SUV, looking forward to ordering it. However, the handling doesn't look good in the corners, unfortunately, maybe because of the high center of mass. My 208 currently handles way better in sharper corners with even higher velocity (driving a lot on mountain roads) and it is not even a GT.

My wife has a 2014 model Peugeot 3008 and she loves it, so much better than the Ford C Max she had before.The finish and style on new Peugeot is amazing,we are on our way to the showroom.I drive a BMW 330d m sport and I love it ,but the gap between prestige and Family cars is getting closer all the time.
And given the cost of this GT version, how much would you have to spend to get the same on the BMW. Mind you, while Peugeot are picking themselves back up, I bet the depreciation on this sucks. But then if you have it on PCP, who cares.
Have just ordered the new 3008 Peugeot ,went for the 1.6 diesel auto 120 bhp,traded in my wifes 2014 3008 ,depreciation no worse than when I traded in the Ford Cmax,both with similar mileages.
diesel is out in 2025.

how is the gearbox ? from the sound it looks like a cvt
It is an automatic transmission called EAT6 (torque converter automatic transmission). I like the smooth gear changes. (Christian)

Yes, the 1.2 is a very light engine and has a very positive impact on the driving dynamics. That engine with 160 hp woudl be really great in the 3008. (Christian)
And also this is the least refined diesel in it's class. It's sounds, well, like a bloody awful diesel from tickover to redline. The Tiguan sounds way better. But the Pug wins in every other way. Oh what to buy.
diesel will be outlawed soon :) or, if you must, get the 120 it's a lot sweeter.
get the 1.2 tuned up it gets to around 155-159 hp with 270-300 nm

It was the diesel with 180 hp.
Dude what are you talking about.. maybe its a bit noise at low speed in 1st and 2nd gear just like bmw 520d f10.. thats pretty normal for all diesel engines but at higher speeds HDi is one of the silentest diesels on the market..
Well i think you should try 2.0 HDI engine.. you will be amazed how silient it is. Im driving C5 2010 with 2.0HDI and u can hear it in first and second gear but at higher gears you can barely hear it. Even when i floor it to 3.5k -4k RPMs engine remains silient. Just do some reserch yourself and you will see that 2.0HDI 2.2HDI 3.0HDI is one of the silentest diesels.
Well i have never driven 1.6 HDI so i cant say anything for this engine... I can only talk for 2.0HDi in C5.. maybe 2.0 Hdi in some other cars is noisier because C5 has very good overall sound insulation with laminated and acoustic windows. Also i have C3 2008 with 1.4HDi but C3 has bad sound insulation so engine will be noise... Also i think most of the modern diesel engines can be really really quite if a car has good sound insulation.
