Apologies! I've realised since putting the video out that the DPS stats I mentioned are no longer correct... This is why I try now to do stats too much! Sorry!
I tried that a few times and just didn't seem to work for me. Even right clicked and it didn't show up in the wheel either. Maybe I was just slightly missing the spot I need to get 😕
If you haven't found a solution to bed logging. Once you get into bed and settle in.. right click once.. that UI(I don't really know much about.. but its a means to an end) should pop up.. (EDIT: i dont see that UI at 7:05 so why i'm guessing that is where the probs is) then HOLD F and while holding F.. move the mouse around till it shows up.. looks like a mouse pic with the left mouse button flashing meaning left click(if you have never seen it). Mine tends to show up when i move it to the right side of my vision.. I have a feeling it's different for other beds so move the mouse around and hope it shows up. If you don't see it maybe Cutty has a diff way of logging off. My 'experiences' in logging off is using 315P bed which i haven't had any probs using as of now. Knock on wood.
@purgedome2386 yeah I had a go and it just didn't seem to show up even on the wheel. There were to spots while holding left, one made the bed glow blue and it wasn't there and the other made it glow green and it wasn't there either 🤷♂️ Someone in the comments said it is somewhere near your feet but I couldn't find it. Maybe just a glitch in the matrix haha
@@BattleChickenYT Hope ya figure it out and starting sound like a bug. Cutty(blue or black) is definitely one of the ships I'll be getting. Unless Zeus MR really really impresses me. Hehe.. Was the second ship(hawk loaner before it came out) i ever flew and always enjoyed flying it when i did.
I have bigger and better haulers. I have more combat capable ships. But I still regularly fly the Cutty for bunkers, low volume cargo, and just general shenanigation.
Shenangiation 😄 love it! For just nipping around and get it done, the cutty is amazing. I find myself using the more dedicated ships only when I need them for a specific task nowadays
I love the Cutlass in theory, but I started playing the game in early 2023, and my starter ship was the Cutter. The Cutlass just feels so outdated compared to all the other Drake ships. I consider myself a Drake fanboy, but it's the only ship who's interior and exterior design seems impractical/unfinished. The fragile wasted cockpit space, the lack of a shoilet, no space for components. I hole they update it, and/or release a MK II
Cutlass is my starter ship. It is the best starter allround because you can figth against small and medium ship. In a battle-group you can Support other ships. With turrent it is a dangerous figther killer. You have enough cargo for the beginng. Later i buy ingame constellation Andromeda and guardian for more cargo and more firepower.
One heck of a starter! The connies are really the only logical next step up for multi-role for sure. Wish I'd tried this ship sooner and it may become a permanent addition to my fleet
My problem with the cutlass is star citizen itself. It’s the ship that regularly experiences stupid bugs. My most recent one cripples my FPS when I look at the MFDs. Only ship I have that issue on is the Cutty and during one patch the Corsair.
@BattleChickenYT All I know is that JT was on, MAZE prices were up, and there was no way I wasn't gonna sell that brick. Half a million was absolutely worth the risk.
Ah I did not know that! What was it about the centre position that didn't work? Maybe if it was over the left side sliding door would work? The side without the grid 🤔 It's nice having the tractor beam if you need it but feels like an after thought
@BattleChickenYT the darn thing was positioned to put the gear on the ramp it couldn’t even see inside of the cargo bay. This new one at least has a position to guide in cargo so long as one is able to practice the subtle manipulation of the tractor beam.
Honestly I thought that at first but after flying the cutlass I actually prefer it for getting stuff done. I do love the look of the spirit though Guess it's just people's preference
The C1 is gorgeous and I have one in my hangar. It's definitely better looking, has a better (i.e. any) interior, and obviously can hold those 32 scu boxes. But it's not "better in every respect." It's much larger, which makes it a bigger target in combat and a bitch to land on an uneven surface. The cutlass has a turret and 3x the missiles. I don't like to focus on stats, but the Cutlass also has faster rotation rates and SCM boost speed. When I play with a friend we fly his Cutlass. And there's just something so fun about jumping out that side door into small arms combat.
@@schoolboymafia not true. The C1 is great, but it has an unnecessarily large landing footprint, and it doesn't have the side doors. The Cutty is easier to load and unload, has a turret and jump seats. The Spirit is a cargo ship and does decent for bounty hunting. The Cutty Black is both of those as well as a budget drop ship that can get into tighter spaces.
If I wanted a ship with the same foot-print as a Corsair but half the stats in every other direction, and a pita to park it to boot, the C1 wins it hands down.

Sorry!
Short: Best Allrounder since it's release. Undefeated.
It is genuinely great. Kinda makes me question all the other ships in my fleet 😓
It's the most reliable, most flexible, best option as a first upgrade.
100% agree. Can't believe I missed this ship out during my first upgrade path
Bed logging works you have to look toward the bottom of the latter to find it
I tried that a few times and just didn't seem to work for me. Even right clicked and it didn't show up in the wheel either. Maybe I was just slightly missing the spot I need to get 😕
@@fg1110 that's usually where it is, but it's been really hit and miss in 4.0. Same for the Cutty Red. Assume the other two have the same issue.

Ooooooh, I actually really like the idea of a mk2 version! I hadn't thought of that.
Very good review
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Another great review! Love the cutlass. This was my first upgrade and maybe should have been my last...
Thanks man really appreciate support!
Honestly wish I'd tried this ship earlier. I probably wouldn't have upgraded for a while!
Just bought it again just to apply the BIS paint i forgot i had. Im totally in love.
That's awesome!

Short answer: Yes
Hahahaha indeed!
My problem with the cutlass is star citizen itself. It’s the ship that regularly experiences stupid bugs. My most recent one cripples my FPS when I look at the MFDs. Only ship I have that issue on is the Cutty and during one patch the Corsair.
Oh she can fit a 32 scu box for sure. Might not snap to the grid but the doors will close.
Think I've just had too many rattling boxes in the past blow me up to even attempt that kind of thing anymore 🤣
@BattleChickenYT All I know is that JT was on, MAZE prices were up, and there was no way I wasn't gonna sell that brick. Half a million was absolutely worth the risk.
Totally understandable 😄
@@BattleChickenYT i'm pretty sure they removed the damage caused by cargo conteiners to ships. ATLS was smashing the shit out of every ship so... :D
Love this ship. That is all
Is the CUTLASS BLACK Worth it?
In short: YES ;-)
Wish I'd discovered this ship sooner for sure!
To be honest I was looking at ships the other day and this might be one ill get when I upgraded
If you can look past the rough look of the ship then it definitely a winner man, it can do so much
@BattleChickenYT i don't think it looks that badd reminds me of a pelican from halo but like the baby sister of it haha
@marzvid you have a point there! It's gives me star wars vibes as well
@@marzvid do it. It's one of the best all-rounders available. Lots of bang for a reasonable buck.
Unfortunately they had they had the tractor beam in the center once. It doesn’t work as well as you may believe
