    F the resellers!! They buy as many pairs as they possibly can as soon as shoes are put up for sale, which results in many people that wanted to wear and enjoy the shoes having no option but to pay resell prices if they don’t get lucky with raffles or shock drops. They aren’t doing anyone any favors. I’d rather buy reps than pay a reseller hundreds for a shoe.

    It's one thing if you skip the release of a shoe and then months later you're regretting not getting it so you now have to pay resell but what's really messed up is if you're literally on the website typing in your information just to see you didn't get the shoe and now the shoes like 2x the price despite being officially released 5 minutes ago. I hope all these resellers buy all these shoes just to have them NOT sell and are forced to sell under retail. I understand we live in a capitalist country and everything has a price but making profit out of everything is what's killing us as a society because we're all guilted into even your hobby has to be making money, so you have these dudes hurting a whole community of people all to make a quick buck. If you hit on a shoe and realized you don't want it later that's cool but don't buy 5 pairs and instantly put them up for sale for 2x the price when there was a guy who really wanted the shoe but they didn't buy bots and rig the system to make sure they were first in line

    Hahahah yes hopefully the reseller market folds. The prices they charge and drive the market prices threw the roof every single release is bought up and geld hostage and made to pay 100 to 500 above retail just to be able to enjoy the new general release Shoe its insanity and feels criminal

      The reseller market ain't goin' anywhere...and it's not new. It's been next to impossible to get certain sneakers for retail price since 2010-ish.

    • @Mosesybanez
      @Mosesybanez Год назад

      @dizzle1119 yeah its not going anywhere but the prices have been more then crazy then 2010ish day one releases on every single shoe. Sneaker prices have been super inflated more and more ppl are buying less right now and it's cuz usually capitalism works great as well with supply and demand it usually drives prices down to compete but resellers are copin retail and turning around and boosting prices 100% on regular sneaker. No ones dropping prices to compete cuz they all want the max. Normal everyday ppl are seeing this the very small percent of ppl buying 500 dollar and up shoes consistently aren't gonna keep every reseller happy no one wants to pay prices like that and it's already being proven these prices aren't sustainable. Ripping ppl ppl off then reselling high is a crazy business strategy. I get it the grails ill pay and most ppl who love the shoe or want it will pay the high mark up cuz there super limited or PE or a shoe from the 2000s but on every single shoe release they buy out and then turn around to resell the shoe for double that's not gonna last. I've been knowing shoes and seeing the community and everytime things get like this everyone losses someone has to give and more often then not it's the reseller who has to take the "L" and drop there shoe to a reasonable price or maybe skip buying 50 to 100 of every shoe to resell. The small resellers are gonna drop like Flys and th big guys that been in for many years can eat the hit and drop a bit and survive. I'm not talking about the market for used new or limited shoes dying out im talking about all the hype heads invading the shoe community and taking advantage and screwing over our fellow collectors or shoe enthusiasts.
