What I do to get 10k every round without double gems is I do the gem hunt twice the double or nothing then do gem hunt after that, the double or nothing and cash out

2k gems then win 50/50 (4000) then hunt until 6k then win 50/50 again then just hunt from there you’d usually get 16k gems average per round
