So generally this would be Gambler's Fallacy the only question is do they have some sort of hidden pity system built-in we don't know of. I've watched many people burn their whole inventories and watched 100s of millions burn in grading. Tas from Bank was the first person I know that really tried this method and swore by it hitting #1 Rap a long time ago back when rap lb only went up to about 400m. If you want inflated rap to try to hit lb getting S grades is a risky method however if you want your account to have a good value then grading is generally a poor idea due to S grades usually never selling for full Rap.
