fcb 1010 midi controller works great with this. ps. your palm mutes need more muting for better bottom end chunk.

@@BedroomGuitarHero in running that controller and it has two expressions on it. Programming the cortex is a bit easier to get the hang of,Programming the controller takes a bit more thought. I bought a projector/ laptop stand for the cortex and had easier time with it never touching the floor and using the controller at shows. Also, when you run at shows you can split signal path and run a cab setup to front of house and bypass the cab in main signal chain to use just amp with your own cab on stage while having no mic involved going to front via xlr. You're going to have fun and just play once you have your tone and controller setup. ALWAYS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF DUEL RIG SETUP! I cannot stress that enough on how much fun you can have mixing and matching up cabs and amp combo's with this unit! I personally use the mark 4/ slo100 blended with comps on both sides; gate set, 212 cab on slo and 412 Mesa on main input. Hope anything I said sticks and I like your videos.

I've always been all about simple rigs. At our band's level its also very difficult to tell small variences in sound, which get completely lost or overwritten from gig to gig depending on the venue acoustics, PAs, sound guy etc as we dont use IEMs. I do really want to get the QC off the floor though, but I also dont need very many footswitches, so wondering if there is something smaller out there than the FCB1010. Also, wondering how to include easy tuning in that setup, do you use the QC tuner in your setup?

@@BedroomGuitarHero yes I love the tuner. It works well and I don't really like iems either. They don't sound good if your dude can't mix you in right. I'll do some soul searching on other midi controllers. Maybe that could be your next string of content? Thanks for you. Keep doing us musicians justice thanks.

Thanks so much for the kind words! I just came back from a mini-tour with the band (only 3 shows) but we were on support for a bigger band, and I learned so many lessons, thinking about making a video about that. But we have more gigs coming so maybe I can accumulate more lessons learned with those haha
