Really enjoy the channel. Trim your boat, get that weight aft and bow up. Stick closer to the edges and pick your line. Speaking of lines, how about at least the length of your boat, and for the love of dog, stow the bumpers. Get children into pfd's. This is must watch stuff for future Captains. You need to keep your boat up on plane at a place like Haulover. So why in the world in the first clip, would that captain put 60% of the boat's passenger weight up front? 😒

How ignorant of a captain do you have to be to have people in the bow at Haulover? It's mind-boggling to see it so often.

I love when your channel and Boat Zone and others ask 'Could the captain have done something differently' and you proceed to get a laundry list of items lol. Every time though.... 'Don't go out in rough seas, make sure passengers are not in the bow and everyone wear life jackets' are ALWAYS on that list. HAHAHAHA

Watching your videos makes it very clear that having money to buy a large boat and leaving the helm and steering of the boat unmanned does not make you a Captain, it makes you a Mulligan!

8:07 That Zodiac is only slightly bigger than a jet ski. No one is wearing a PFD. Those people all fell out of the Stupid Tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Nobody should be riding at the bow of a boat. It is the near the center of a boat, or stern of a boat where people normally ride.
When I drive a boat, I am near the center of a boat. I could be a passenger as well relaxing near the center of a boat, or stern. The sides of a boat, and bow should be kept clear to be able to navigate on water.
What I am wondering is why there are people at the bow of a boat while a boat is in motion.
If I am driving a boat then I would like to be able to see my surroundings. A boat is not much different than a car. Would you ever see a car passenger sitting on a hood of a car where the engine is while a car is driving on a road?
As far as I am concerned the logic of sitting at a bow of a boat is piss poor. Because it would be no different than sitting on a hood of a car while a driver is driving a car on a road!
The stern of a boat should have space to be such as standing, or sitting, so I think this should be equivalent to a back driver car seat!

Love the drone shots
It is so easy to damage your back (and not even know you did it) and only feel the hurt when you are gardening or lifting something at an odd angle. Passengers, sit down, sit still and hang-on. Captain, one of the tools you have in your toolbox is a throttle; use it, it actually works at slow speeds too.

I'm in awe of the skill of the drone pilots who risk their expensive drones way out over saltwater.
This is an awesome channel to learn how to deal with these waves (and how not to). That being said, I suspect there'll never be a shortage bad captains for wavyboat to record.

Running like these boats do through Haulover is a testament to modern manufacturing. The stresses involved in the pounding and stuffing are enormous. Now I know why wooden boats have such robust ribs, stringers and keels !
The beating some of these small boats take is crazy. Note to self "never buy a used boat that was anywhere near Haulover"

Why is there often a U-Haul truck at the end of the jetty?
The one in this vid appeared to be setting up a fireworks display....looked like mortar tubes. Had a couple fire extinguishers sitting there too.

It seems to me that going slower, and closer to the rocks would be smoother. The waves seem to pick up right in the middle.
It can be fun getting air, but the downside is chugging some seawater! Place intended victims in the bow and advise that it'll be fun and memorable!

4:20 on that bow Rider did that passenger on the starboard side lose her top when that wave hit her it sure looked it to me
its a tough inlet. Honestly while I enjoy watching the videos, this channels holier then thou attitude doesn't make me like the company behind it. People battling the inlet, great, no need to crap on them.
