Thanks for the video, very helpful! I was so afraid I would snap the plastic but it's pretty flexible which is needed to put back on. Took about 20 mins to change it out.
Thanks for this awesome video. I loved the way the puig windscreen looked on your pcx enough to purchase the same one. I as well struggled to get the fairing back on and wanted to ask you if the very bottom above the headlight housing went back into the Grove in the headlight?. Thanks in advance.
I prefer it because I want a little bit of protection. The air no longer hits me directly in my face although it does swirl around my head and keeps me cooler.
very nice....now if you watch some of the videos you will see theres a body kit from indonishia that will make your bike into a mini gold wing if you like and also theres a way to get the forza mirrors on your bike....it goes up front instead of on the handle bars......check into it you might like it....i know i do and i dont even have a scooter yet
Sorry for the late reply. I am 5’8”. The air doesn’t hit me directly in the face, but it does swirl around my head. I still have to wear glasses or flip my visor down on my helmet to keep the air out of my eyes.
Thank you for making this video. I am going to go to my local Cycle Gear in Lake Forest to go order the Puig Windshield today. (I have Puig windshields on two of my other motorcycles and the quality is very nice. It will go well on my PCX. Btw, have you noticed any difference in your MPG? I am averaging about 98 mpg but hope it will go up. If nothing else, I know it will be beneficial for my cold morning commutes. Ride safe.
Glad it was helpful! My MPG decreased one to 2 miles per gallon which is not really significant but expected. You are increasing resistance with a larger windscreen. You must drive much more conservatively than me and for more highway miles. I drive only city with a lot of fast starts and I only get between 80 and 86 miles per gallon. Lucky you!
You can't complain about your mpgs. These are great scooters. What other modifications have you done or are planning on doing? Btw, to increase my mpg I have a tendency to tap my skill switch to off at red lights. I think it may help. In the European market their PCX's do this automatically at idle to conserve fuel. I do the same thing on my Grom and I can get around 155 consistently. Both motorcycles have their own perks. But their mpg is one of my favorite advantages compared to other motorcycles and cars.
I am 1.72 m. With this screen the wind does not hit me directly in the face but does swirl around my head, so I would guess you probably should get a taller windscreen if you don’t want air in your face.
@@craigmorley7941 it is mostly about avoiding rain as much as possible. I'll certainly look for a taller. I hope givi makes taller ones, I'd like to avoid the cheap chinese.
@@craigmorley7941 Hello, I am 174cm tall. I would like to have a bubble that protects well from the rain and wind but I do not want to look through the bubble. Do you think that a bubble 73.5 cm high will reach below my eyes? With your bubble, how many cm is your view above the bubble? I hope you understand, thank you
In my country, Iraq, they want this bike, but its price is high, especially the fourth generation. Its price reached $43. How much is the price for you?
I would have expected that, but I don’t think it’s actually true. I just filled my tank and got 100 mpg! I think I actually have less drag due to the windshield than having the air hit me in the chest and face.
I did prefer the stock windshield except that I do want some protection. This was the best option. I wish Honda made a stock option that gave more protection if you want it but they don’t.
That wind screen looks horrible, it's way too large for this scooter. Should of just kept the original, top speed is around 70mph but realistically it toos out around 65 or 67 so honestly it's unnecessary to even upgrade

Excellent video! Saved me so much time on my 2022 PCX. Highly recommend this video
Thanks for posting this - it definitely made this process easier. And yes - putting the white panel back on took some patience.
Thanks so much for the tips!✌🏼
removing that first white panel and replacing it is difficult without snapping pieces of it off
Thank you so much now I can change mine tomorrow!

Am learning all US 21-24 PCX wind screens same generation and fit.
Gorgeous!!! Thank you Sir for sharing 🙏 🙌 😊 ❤️ God bless your heart!!! Peace and many safety miles ahead!!!
hello do you have a link to this windscreen?, I cant seem to find a match... thanks great video!!!

I have same PCX 160 2022, the windscreen looks good but not available on my country. can help me get these?
What are your thoughts after riding with the new windscreen?

Thanks for the informative video. Is the air hitting your face since your head is over the windscreen? How tall are you?

I have a 2021 and just ordered the Givi windscreen. Does yours help with noise and wind?
Noise so so. Wind in face yes but it still swirls around me
I'm trying to decide between this and an even taller one since I'm gonna be using it during winter and I'm 1.86 cm...

Is this the pcx 160? What is your top speed?
Yes. I’ve gotten up to 70 mph, but it really is more comfortable around 65 mph

Great information. Thank you sir. How much do they cost?
Around $160 US

Looks like it would make it hard to see road furniture at night.
That’s what I thought initially, but it is below my eyesight level so I really don’t look through it for anything at all regardless.
Have you the number of the screen please
To much drag.fuel consumption will be higher
