Funny, I remember when brass / gold & brushed gold were replaced with silver, brushed silver & stainless steel; however, I love the return of the gold 🪙 - rich, warm & luxe! Also, kudos to you, Brendan - what a currated + classic eye 👁️ you have for interior design & fashion ... 🤩
I would swap the boucle club chair by the tub and move it where the vases are currently are in the main bed area. The vases and plants currently serve no purpose in that space. Replacing it with the chair with an ottoman and adding a lamp or floor lamp with a side table would create more functionality. Additionally, relocating the plants and vases to where the chair is now would enhance the bath area's look and allow the moisture to benefit the plants.

It’s such a versatile place and lots of landscape and space. Can’t beat the pool and hot spa and outdoor vibes on the deck is just fabulous! A perfect place to bring children to. I could listen to you all day and if I’m not mistaken, I recall with your background in real estate that I can see why you did the tour so well. The nanny suite looks amazing wow that was quick that it’s complete now. Congratulations you guys! ❤

I love your interior decorating style! However, I would have wallpapered the ceiling of the downstairs powder room as well. Also, consider painting the ceiling in the nanny suite so that it’s all one color. I’d be worried about having the kids sleeping downstairs while you’re upstairs; I don’t think I would be able to sleep. Additionally, consider adding a desk to your upstairs office/lounge room.

The chill out room is such a good idea. When my children were small I boarded and carpeted a large loft space on my own and my children played up there spring and autumn and summer in the garden and in the winter they were mostly in their bedrooms so it all worked. We made them a loft area above the garage so they could bring their friends round and play up there too.
