Thank you, I appreciate the feedback! It was pretty gross, and I wasn’t expecting to see it since the rest of the motherboard was pretty clean, but it was a build-up of what I believe was dust and cigarette smoke. I took care of that quick-sharp!
You’re very welcome, thank you for the feedback! It’s a fun little project that’s honestly way more straight forward than I thought it would be, and it makes a world of difference! Have fun! 😊
I didn’t think of that! I can’t think of a reason why it wouldn’t work, and you’d be future proofing yourself if you needed to change the fans out again later. I’m not sure how it would affect the sense wire, but in theory, you should be good. Good call!
Video was great. Helped me out with my fan replacements !
Nice work. What crawled in and died between the heatsink and fan though, those are some nasty patches on the heatsink!

Any downsides for using quick disconnects (or jumper cable connectors, maybe) when patching the fans?

Can you do Wii saves import? I don’t know how to import any Wii saves.
Will this work for the sega naomi 1 im assuming?
Yes, this process should work with the Naomi 1 as well, exactly the same concept. Hope that helps, and apologies for the delayed response!
Awesome video thanks for uploading!
