    Modul confort You mean? I try to get ecu same vivaro.modul confort key plus contact sensor all kit.and same don't of the light. Uhat you think ? Thanks for answer.

    Thanks for the helpful video! I will check the fuses for broken legs in future.
    i have a 06 trafic (sat in it right now!) and just took 10 mins to get it to crank over and start.
    what happens is i turn the ignition on. lights on dash come on as normal everything is as normal then when i turn to start it (which is where the switch turns off power to cabin lights to focus power on starting) it wont even start cranking or turning over just everything goes off. when i turn thr key back and start again lights come on as normal.. repeat the process 20 odd times sometimes and itl finally crank and start.
    sometimes there will just be a 3 or 5 second delay inbetween turning the key... silence.. then it starts cranking and starting.
    mechanic fiddled about with a starter relay which made it start ok for a while.
    do you think it sounds like a starter relay or something else i should look out for? i just need to know myself so i can temporary fix it as i am a mobile dj i really need it to start for the next day or so without issue! thanks for your time

      Retrobution have a look at the grounds on the battery and the engine you can use a jumper cables one on the engine block and one on the body

      @@antodenn381 thanks for the reply. in that case it was the negative terminal on the battery it wasnt connected tight enough!
      have got an all new problem with it now. everything works except that when turning the ignition there are no lights on the dashboard (no oil fuel reading etc) when i turn it to start it cranks but it wont start!
      am supposed to be taking the caravan out on tuesday too.
      so this has me proper stumped!
      i checked fuses in the engine bay and a 5amp fuse had blown. replaced it. but no dash lights or anything. the van cranks just fine and has power for immobiliser and lights and indicators etc. indicators show and immobilizer blinks on the dash but nothing else

    hello, I have a vivaro similar to the problem 3 weeks ago I changed the distribution kit, the high pressure pump and the injector rail because it was spinning but didn't start, after all these changed after the 3 weeks the car suddenly stopped on the road , I changed the fuel filter and the pump next to the filter, the manual diesel pump, the car starts but only helped by the manual pump kept revved at 3000 +, about 2/3 min then in the ratio it does not start for more than 1/2 minutes!

    While driving my 2008 2ltr vivaro the engine just cut out first thought was cam belt has gone but it’s a chain , I know chains go but it was under to pressure and no noise happend when it stopped . Now the engine sounds like there is no compression . Any ideas before I pull apart and check the chain

    Will do.
    My mechanic had his fault code computer hooked up last night.
    No codes.
    I’m going to change the cam sensor.
    Today.
    Just a point.
    He put a new vacuum to turbo switch on last week.
    That is making a buzzing sound.
    The 2 bolts that hold it on to inner wing body ! One is snapped in the body the other wouldn’t screw right in.
    So it’s like loose . Wonder if it needs to be tightly screwed to inner wing for earthing reasons 🤔

    I haven't as yet but will check the fuel filter primes with primer bulb and squirts fuel if feed to high pressure pump is disconnected but doesn't seem to fill feed pipe when connected is the pump pressure regulator blocked possible?

      You need a diagnostic machine to look at life data to see what the fuel pressure switch is doing

    Hi I have a 2013 vivaro 2.0 ltr it seems to have fuel starving issue injector fault on dash no metal fillings in filter put new filter and housing it started sounded fine no smoke drove off then died as if out of fuel?

    hey dude ive got a 1.9 2004 plate vivaro, it turning over but not firing i had a leak from the top of the fuel firlter housing so changed the fuel filter and the seals etc primed it solid but still no start, if u spray easy start in it works and runs all day until u turn the engine off then it wont crank again, any ideas what i shud be looking for.. it has a second hand fuel pump in the tank 5 months ago

    Thanks will check this tomorrow iam no mechanic was going to do simple oil change lol that didn't happen cos of sump plug van was on ramps started but cut out now just cranks never had any cutting out probs before or starting allways been on the first flick of key we need this bus badly for travel with kids iam wishing a simple fuse does the trick... And offcourse a plug tool ill buy if i get it started many thanks

      did you do the fuel filler on the van if so you will have to bleed it before it will start

    I have a 1.9 2006 dci quit wile driving to work got it to my yard run on easy start and continues to run if I use the bulb primer ball if I stop the engine stops try to restart it runs for a second then stalls

    I'm having trouble with my vauxhall movano when I first start it up it runs then cuts out. After I've turned it on and off a couple of times its starts up and is fine. I've just put a battery in the back to power lights and bits and the new battery is getting a feed from the main battery. Is it possible I've dislodged something? It all started around the same time.

      No it sounds like you have a leak of fuel somewhere maybe a injector

    Hi really hoping you can help. I have 05 1.9 vivaro that takes a long time to fire up in morning. Once running i can switch it off and it start back up ok.. It seems the longer i leave it the harder it is to start could this be fuel? Thanks for any help

      Yes sounds like injector is leaking overnight

      Injectors have not long been done to erase fault but still there. Some people are aiming it at fuel going back to tank?. Thank you

    my 2007 renault trafic 2.0 dci 115 has a problem that comes and goes, van will drive fine for days sometimes weeks then it had a moment where it feels like it's holding back it will cut out whilst driving glow plug light comes on and eml, start it back up it goes again then starts holding back and cutting out again, after maybe 2 hours it stops doing it and goes back to normal and ideas? replaced alternator, egr valve, boost sensor, crank sensor, no faults showing when plugged in its doing my nut in.

      Blindly trowing parts into a problem without some proper fault find. It's probably the worst exercise you and your wallet will have to face. Neither will produce a decent working vehicle or a happy owner. ;-)
      Alternator, EGR, etc. most all of the mentioned can be tested before turning into "culprits" in the plot. What is worse is those are relatively expensive parts.

    Help have a 2003 trafic drove fine then one day i drove 100 yards and it just died hae cleaned egr mass flow meter changed crank sensor checked pressure regulator on pump .it just cranks I cranked over injectors and no fuel under pressure .its coming to the fuel filter under pressure .have also changed fuel filter .fuses ok

    Thanks for reply , the egr has been turned 180% to block off about 3yrs ago ,had new turbo last year ran good no fault lights on dash? just this week low power low rpm

      check the fuel pressure sensor wiring I would also take out the EGR valve and check to see if it is blocked

      on the driver side there is a black box see is it wet or is the wires gone green it is under the steering wheel beside accelerator pedal this is the immobiliser box

      If you disconnect the fuel pressure sensor it should still run if it starts and runs with that disconnected you will know what one is gone

    If the red stop light is on permanently after a flat battery and the thing cranks, would you immediately think the BCM was at fault. Rail pressure builds up and cam crank becomes synchronous whilst cranking from asynchronous. So that stop light. Would it be there if the glow plug relay was faulty? Scan revealed no can bus signal. That’s why I am thinking BCM module. So the red stop light is on until what parameters are all met?

      the stop light can come on when a door is open too and on not for glow plugs

    You have a leak somewhere in the fuel system maybe injector the first thing to look at is the fuel pressure sensor

    Hiya pal, I know this is an old video but hoping you're still active and maybe you can help, my primastar is starting sometimes but not always, warm summer mornings it starts without issue but on colder mornings it's cranking fine, starter sounds good, glow plug light comes on then off very quickly but then will not start. Can you help in anyway? Much appreciated.

    My engine didn , t start last night. I tried again and again but noting. I watched the video, s on youtube and read some story's. This morning i first tried the reset with the gas pedle and the brake peddle and the first time i sounded as it wanted to run but i was to late to react. Afther that i took a look at the fuses under the coolingwater tank. They where a oke but i cleaned some. Then i pushed on the rubber fuel ball and had to do this 2 times for presure. Afther that its running again. I let the engine run now for 30 minuten before i reconect en re-install the battery with all the bolts. I hate those new cars with all those failures.

    Hi I have a 04 Nissan primastar that cut out while driving nobody has got it running since. There seems to be no fuel pressure. I’ve had the fuel pressure pump changed the fuel rail changed crank cam & fuel pressure sensor still no fuel pressure still won’t start. I’m just a roofer so I don’t have a clue about these things but I don’t want to keep throwing money at it. Any ideas? Thanks

      anto denn hi mate like I say I’m just a roofer don’t know nothing about mechanics everything that I listed that has been done has been done by other people on there advice. All I know is I was driving down the road & the van cut out like it run out of fuel & it’s never started since. Everyone has told me there is no fuel pressure but nobody has found out why

    i have a 2011 vauxhall vivaro its done about 170k the van won't start when you turn ignition on abs lights comes on beeps twice and the van will turn over but not start no DTC left the van over night nxt morning went to van and it fired up first thing no problems atall now again i have the same problem says on dash braking fault and no start had the van to dealership who said it was a ECU fault £1490 later back to the same problem braing fault and not starting any ideas if you quickly turn the key without waiting on the preheat the van starts then cuts out ??

      today i unplugged the abs pump and tried to start the van again no start and then i plugged it back in again and still no start when i connect to opcom diagnostic it reads about 6 unknown faults doesnt give me indecation of what the fault is and still cranks over and wont start is it possible a faulty ecu although dealership claim they have fitted a new ecu?

    Hi. I have nissan primaster 55 plate. Got starting problem. All it does is crank but as soon as you fiddle with the injector connectors or the egr valve and others it start then problem start again after 5 starts. Have changed the egr valve, some injectors which later we knew was ok, camshaft and crankshaft sensors. Mass airflow sensor, boost sensor but still. Any help?

      The light on dash is ok. Lil bit of easy start spray and boom it start. Apart from that it doesn't wanna know

      at the back of the inlet you will see a small pipe take it off and then on the inlet side see is it block unblock it wight a long pin

    Hi! My Primastar just died. It was very weak untill the turbo kicked in. When I went for the second gear it was dead. A 300 meter drive. Has not started since. It ignites on start gas. Have removed one of the pipes that goes to the injectors and its empty even when i try to start it. Any idea?

      Perbalter is the fuel filter block you can buy pass the fuel filter with a bottle of Diesel if it still won't start it is the fuel pump

    Can you help me please I have a Renault Trafic 2l 115 dci 2007 the van was running fine then the other week when driving it just stopped the red stop EML came on I got it towed to a garage they got it started but couldn’t tell me what was wrong
    It’s happened again when I got home so I took the air box of move some of the cables and it started running normal again for 2 weeks
    Then the other day just stops again RED STOP EML on again so into another garage and they can’t tell me what’s up with it 😭😭😭
    I’ve got it back home so my drive is on a hill if I put it in first gear it’s fine but if I put it into second gear and put my foot on the accelerator it cuts out and the RED STOP EML comes on

      @@MrJohnboy696 no if you but in 1st gear and starts so it cant be camshaft senior if it is not rubbing true at the gearbox look around where the injectors are they are known for rubbing true on wires

    I,ve a 2005 1.9 sl27 100 trafic that starts and runs fine but sometimes won,t start. I can hear the relay clicking but theres not a kick out of the starter, turn the key 3 or 4 times and then will start. The starter seems to be good and strong when does start. Any ideas?

      took the strap off completely cleaned both ends with emery cloth ,used electrical cleaner too remove the green corrosion from the copper strap and refitted and so far so good ,starts every time.so thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

      Possibly fuel cut off switch, It's a safety feature.
      I don't recall, but I believe it's on the right side of the engine compartment. But don't quote me on that. ;-)

    05 vivaro cranks won’t start.
    Cracked injecter nut: fuel gettin there.
    Maf.. new
    Vacuum switch new.
    Buzzing noise come oh from vacuum switch on cranking...
    A very well looked after van. New everything basically.
    Was running like a dream, went to start
    2 hours later ...cranks no start.
    Abs light on , on and off.
    Mechanics had computer on . No codes.
    Pressed fuel cut out switch a few times in case it tripped.
    Any ideas.🤔

      Hi Denn.
      Easy start . Starts.
      Immobiliser light going off.
      My mechanic just changed MAF
      And vacuum to turbo switch...
      Vacuum to turbo switch is making a slight buzzing noise or clicking noise when cranked🤔
      Was running nice for few days after maf
      Swop

      Check the wiring going to the fuel pressure switch if you can get your hands on a computer check live data to see what the fuel pressure switch says the van will not start unless you have God feel pressure you need to know what heal pressure is at a fuel pressure switch especially when cranking

      @@antodenn381 maybe I should swop fuel pressure switch. That’s the on above fuse box right?
      Can they trip out ? As you have a reset button on the top .

      Prim star as I have 2 and I’m thinking about buying a long wheel base high top on 05 plate .
      My traffic is running sweet but,
      Sometimes the glow plug squiggle comes on and it takes time for the reeves to go up and jerks going over bumps.
      Sometimes it will run fine for say 4 days, then it kicks off for 2 days with no power on starting and takes time to pick up then it will loose power for a few seconds.
      New Maf...
      New everything.
      Timing belt water pump water pump pipe etc

    I have got a 2008 somone jumped another van off it and the big fuse blew o have changed that one 500 amp by the battery she has power now just won’t start somone looked at it and said the ecu was broke of the key but the glow plug light isn’t displayed on the dash When you first turn the key am going to try this today as a last resort before we go down the purchase of a ecu..
    The guy who came didn’t check any fuses under the bonnet but said his computer could not access the ecu. 2008 vivaro

    I done exactly what you did in the video,,and the 70 fuse was blown,,I replaced it,,,still only cranking and not firing

      glow plug relay have a test light and see is the power at the glow plug wire at the glow plugs

      Yep,after about 5 r 6 turns,,then all the time ,but if I take out the keys an try start again ,
      it take the 5 r 6 turns again

      EzProject5 mine van was doing the same there was air getting in to the premier on the diesel filter before you start it in the morning premie the diesel ball and if it start and stays ticking over its air getting in.
