- After selling our Honda Talon X4, it was time to look at picking up a replacement. With dozens of options on the table, including RZR Turbo R, RZR Pro R, CanAm X3 and many others, why did we go with the KRX4. In this video, we'll run through the reasons why.

Back when I was first researching side-by-sides, I really liked a KRX and I felt it covered all my needs. It was tough as hell, smooth ride, and it worked for taller people. I was super excited to go see one at the dealer... until I found out KRX was 3 inches too wide to be trail legal in most of the Midwest. They don't even stock them out here because they aren't legal on more than 2000 miles of trails out here. I held off hoping they would make a 64 inch edition... Going on 3 years...
Congrats on the HUGE upgrade from the Talon. It's way more than just the ride.
Great video! Still waiting for the SE I ordered in June.
I've had mine on order for a couple of months. They pushed back delivery to December. Ride is why I'm getting one.
Congratulations on your new unit. I love the KRX. We got the talon 2 years ago tried for a Kawasaki but our local Kawasaki dealers sucked so we went Honda. Next is a going to be a KRX 4 my brutha!
I pick up ours tomorrow from Big Pine Sports. We bought the exact one. I'll be following your videos to see what mods you're doing.
Awesome!!
We have the es special edition and I'm 6'2" my wife is a lil shorter then me with her sitting comfortably our 6'9" son can fit in the back comfortably. Now that's saying something. If there is anyone on the fence buy it you'll love it.
Damn getting so much hate. Said it was going to be a build for the everyday regular person. I like the kRXs. They are a little slow for my style of riding but still a great machine.
That sounds like you have some interesting stuff to come. I am thinking about moving over from a Talon 2 seater to a KRX 2 seat. I am also a tall person, and the Talon is JUST big enough so I am not uncomfortable on long rides....but its like a race car, once i' m in with the door closed, there is very little adjusting. Also, you did not mention anything about the drivetrain, and anyone that has a Talon would ask about the difference going from a shaft drive, to a belt drive vehicle. Thx buddy, keep up the good work over there!!
Does the 4 seater have a 12v charger in the back seat anywhere? Thanks
TALK TALK.
Do you want only silence?
No just tell what you are doing, don't draw it out.
Great Video Do you have plans for comms and a radio? What do you all run for communications
We run UTVComms in our other rigs. Haven’t decided if we’ll go that route again or just run the Cardo pack talks. -Joe
What is the advertisd price e of that model?
Hey! I know another Joe with the same machine 🕵️♂️ Great Joe's think alike i guess 🤷🏻♂️
How are those aces racing seats for tall guys? An issue I always have looking for a seat is the harness holes being below my shoulders.
Great video. I’ve been researching my first side-by-side purchase, for me and my family to go on adventures. I live in Arizona and my question is, do you think this Kawasaki would be a good fit for that terrain. Where I live it’s mostly desert trails mixed in with a few mountain trails, no dunes. My concern is I just don’t wanna be left in the dust as I would be riding mostly with Polaris and Can-Am riders. What is your opinion?
Joe is located in Arizona and I see no issues with the KRX keeping up. The biggest thing is how well it handles. If you feel your group ride will consist of flat out 70 plus mph none stop then you might have an issue. I don’t see that being the case though. Most rides probably average 30 to 40 mph through terrain if not slower. Off the dealer floor our KRX handles way better then our Pro XP did. Of course we have made some big changes since then to it. 😄 -Garrett
@@DerangedOffRoad Thanks for your reply. I am heading to the dealership today to go on a test drive.
If I ever get mine, ordered from RMATVMC, and I want to buy the Dirt Warriors windshield and other Accessories. What’s the advantage of going through you and not just buying directly from DW?
We have been a direct dealer for them for a few years now. The main advantage is you’re just helping both of us out. -Garrett
The fellow in this video had the same issue with the door seams and he solved it by capping the door with a 2" wide piece of neoprene gasket tape. (ruclips.net/video/MP33HDk6Dd8/видео.html) He discusses the fix at about the 2 minute mark in the video.
We did that fix on our two seater a couple of years ago and it’s worked great. -Garrett
Turbo ? Or supercharger
There isn’t a reliable turbo on the market at this point. The Kraftwerks supercharger has been great on our KRX.
I had one, sold it. Hated the rubba Band tranny. Good luck with that. Blessings ✝️
To each their own there. As far as “rubber band’s” go, Kawasaki had a great setup. -Joe
they are pure rubbish and that is real reason for "light upgrades"
Nah, our super charged krx is still going strong and not one issue with it. It’s been solid for years
I never understood the half windshield ? To me it’s full windshield or none
It’s great for summer riding. It keeps the wind from blasting you in the face but still flows through the cab. -Joe
You love to rip and you bought a KRX? I'm confused......
Seriously though, you mentioned getting rid of the Talon to do more reviews and change things up and now you have a fleet of KRXs. Yawn fest.
Sorry, but we buy what we like. I guess you missed the part that we own a Pro XP as well. 😂
@@DerangedOffRoad No, I knew that. It was just more enjoyable when all of you had different machines, to see the pluses and minuses of each one in given scenarios. Not knocking that you buy what you like, but for a "review" channel, it is a bit boring is all.
@@dbs311 well the KRX two seater will probably go next sometime and we will be replacing it with something different.
Kawasaki paid him to get that garbage - look at the bolt on roll cage ..... cheap
Paid who?
😂😂 funniest thing I have heard. We have had a two seater for about three years and now the four seater. Paid for 💯 by us only. -Garrett
Just to clarify, that’s the stock cage you’re looking at brother. And no, kawasaki didn’t pay us for anything. I bought the rig I wanted and received no discount from anyone. -Joe
And what kind of machine do you drive Mark?
@@dv_2131 I would never pay 40k for a raised golf cart .... this whole market is one big scam
