This is a nice, calm, and more reasoned counterpoint to the hyperbole of some of the, um, other forecaster channels around here. Ya'll.

Hi, it's the same here in the UK... The news channel hype every weather event🙄

@@danielwilliams318 Several other RUclips channels have hyped up the storm that just passed and the storm coming in two days as "blizzards!" with massive "disruption!". Well, we got 1/2 inch of snow on the first one spread out over 24 hours, and the next one looks like mostly rain. This channel was the most reliable....as much as I enjoy blizzards...

This site is exactly what I would expect from the author of Digital Atmosphere... excellence. Tenure and meteorological experience are recognized in your voice. Weather maps and attention to detail brings me back time and time again.

Another excellent presentation. Great detail of the different elements that are going on. The arctic blast analysis was really good. I am apparently looking down the barrel of that blast here in NW Montana. Also appreciated your comments about looking too far out, and the comparison to the 2021 blast.

Thanks for a great run down of fun stuff on horizon. Was hoping for some snow in Tucson, but the system is moving fast and it looks like timing is off for a morning snow show.

What does the Forecast Lab software use for real time data/sat/nexrad?

I dont see any difference between an el nino and el nina. Cold and snowy out west and warm and rain here in the southeast even though alot of meteorologist said it was going to be snowy still no snow in app mountains unless you live in the highest peaks.
