    Very informative and straight to the point. I have extremely sensitive skin which is actually the main reason I started waxing myself. I got tired of having terrible flare ups after going to salons to get waxed. Is there anything in particular you'd recommend we can put on our skin mainly the face right after waxing to calm redness as well as prevent bumps/irritation?

    I'm so confused which to choose between hard and soft wax. I have hard wax, but I think it's of a bad quality. It didn't even remove the fine hair from my forearm and it broke off in pieces. Now I'm leaning more towards choosing soft/strip wax. Anyone with a similar bad experience with hard wax?

    Im sort of confused and been trying to find an answer. My legs are super dry and my leg hairs keep breaking. I just wonder if you cleanse to get rid of oil then put jobajoba oil on wont the wax not stick if their is oil there? Or do i need to then powder the legs if i use oil?

    • @taasharenee
      @taasharenee  2 года назад +3

      The powder is used to absorb any moisture. Usually with legs, you can put powder so you can SEE the hair but it’s not necessary.
      If your legs are dry, it’s important to make sure that you are moisturizing daily, or else the hair will continue to break as you’re waxing. So you can cleanse to remove any lotions. The jojoba oil is light and you only need a little bit….it’ll penetrate rather than sit on your skin like other oils. Then you can wax. Too much oil it won’t stick….no moisture, the hair will break

    Im a bit confused here. Do we need to remove the oil application first before apply the powder ? Or just apply on top of it ?

    • @taasharenee
      @taasharenee  3 года назад +2

      Apply right on top. The powder is to prevent moisture/help with sweating and the oil helps to act as a barrier between your skin and the wax so you don’t cause harm to your skin

      @@taasharenee omg thank you for this! I noticed that when I waxed my under arms it would cling to my skin and when I pulled my skin would be so red and irritated, my underarms are now a little dark from the damage that was done by the wax clinging to my skin. Going to try this next wax. Thank you so much!!

    So you wipe your skin to remove dirt and oil, just to rub oil back on the skin before waxing? How does that even make sense? Sounds like an oxymoron.
