Great video as usual but I would like to see more elaboration on the basic marcha before the variations. This marcha sounds different to me than the first video you did on Anga but the variations are great, well done .
hi mike.long time ah. any way ive kept up with your teaching and tutorials. what i wanted to ask you was about a rhythm called-the uruyuayan condomble a guy named dance papi has a chanel nd teaches it, among other ritmos. he however does not write it.tanx for all ..you have presented to the community. Rico
Michael, thank you again! I was just trying to figure this out last night from his video and going nuts in the process. You have continuously provided us/me with so many great transcriptions and explanations. Moreover, you are an ethnomusicologist in the truest form. Thank you x100!!! Also, maybe you could shed some light on the pattern/variations he plays on “Conga Carnival” off Echu Mingua? May peace and happiness be with you... (PS. I have some of my own adaptations/transcriptions for 3 congas, of basic Gahu I would like to share with you)
