IFA Wartburg - Im dienste des KGB

- This song was recorded by IFA Wartburg back in 1985 and is a nice example of how we can avoid problems in a society only by controlling the amount of Blue-Jeans and other dangerous american things that some people are carrying around.

If The KGB had an anime show, this is what the intro and song would be
У меня отец служил в КГБ, он подозрителен всегда, в отношении всех. Недоверие - это основная его тема. Батя всегда Патриот и батя всегда за РФ.

I don't know if they are better, but I found these English lyrics somewhere online:
I'm traveling in a VW,
In service of the KGB,
In this country there is much snow,
And none people only wear one shirt
I hurry it up
To my headquarters,
Because these sit here,
They count: 'One, two, three, four!',
They cry 'Cripes!' and often tell each other e.g.
'Oy vey! He's from the KGB!'
They are all terrible criminals, because they are wearing blue jeans,
They must for I discovered them
Not go free where they deserve a sentence!
I have strength in the Warsaw Pact,
I have done more,
They count: 'Five, six, seven, eight!'
They cry 'Cripes!' and often tell each other e.g.
'Oy vey! He is from the KGB!'
Tell each other 'Oy vey!'

East german lyrics?
"Arzarabach" Is Warczawa Pakt (Warsaw pact, but Warsaw is in Polish, not German (which would be properly be "Warschauer Pakt", not "Warczawa Pakt"))
Warszawa, not Warczawa (i don't speak polish)
I doubt it's pronounced Wartsawa anyways but it's a swedish band using a polish word in german in a weird way so it makes sense that it'd be pronounced slightly wrong

Yes, in normal cases the bass was played on a Rickenbacker 4001 or a Fender Jazz Bass but in this case the legendary Fender Rhodes 73 Mark I was used together with a semiconductor preamp that gives this unpleasant sound characterized by second-order harmonics (third order is, as everyone knows, preferable, thank God to Lenz's law and heated filaments). So that's basically how this song was based.
@@ifawartburg Wow, that's very based.

Bro, this song isn't procommunist at all
That exists already in a way, but it is not comedic and doesn't fit the song at all.
It is called "Das Leben der anderen", "The life of the others" - a german movie from 2006, about an overworked StaSi-Agent that grows to question his service to the state.
