Is the engineer code the same as the one written in the guide i.e 1111?

It says in the video and engineer visit it required - does this mean that when you take the battery out and switch the system will not work until someone comes out to look at it? Or is the video saying that if you need to reset in addition to the battery then you would need an engineer.
