wait the brothas came on here an opened their heart about their journey with mental health, admitted to behavior that's not consistent with the character of a man and the sistas are on here talking about other people experiences except their own. With the exception of the last sister that gave a small window into her journey every other sister presented themselves as if they had no journey. This feeds into the narrative that most brothers have that women do not show or admit vulnerability when it comes to mental health but have expectations that men need all the help. I appreciate this platform and its needed. Lets just be honest and open about the struggles we have as black folk men and women.
Black women are accountable for alot as a collective is the reasons for voiding there personal issues because without self hate it will be hard to put the blame on others than onto self. #SelfLove #SelfCare
