There are lots of controversy we can , the problem is no one know what type of channel this is now , Travel which does not have any travel vlog for past one year or family but the person suddenly leaves home for unknown plans for the audience. An then you have so many buildup and planning for just nothing. His channel only survives because of other people content now.
Today's audience is much more discerning and appreciates genuine content. Given your mature viewers, focusing on honest and engaging titles rather than sensational ones might resonate better with them.
