Yosuke in game was wayyy better than in the anime. In the anime (because its so short) he is given nothing but the comic relief role. Personally hes my favorite persona character in the entire series, hes just in every sense of the word a bro

Yosuke undeniably is a comic relief character. But, seeing him leaving the hospital after Nanako's "death" as quick as possible (giving a cue to everyone to disband as well) in the animated version, then coming back without a explanation/many words in order to give the gigachad a shoulder to cry (something that was unfazed in the game, since Narukami is perfect in the game) really got me.
Oh my goodness, you made me love him even more now. That is the best thing I’ve heard Yosuke do especially in his friendship with Yu.

That hospital scene in the anime after the death, no talking and no music made Yosuke one of the best characters in the whole Persona series

Yosuke might be an idiot, but he's a cool idiot. He was actually one of my mains in P4A. And if memory serves right the manga followed his story.
His luck with the ladies does get a bit better in BBTAG. He has pretty good chemistry with Makoto, Yang playfully teases him, and Yuzuriha acts nice to him so long as he behaves himself. In the Extra Story mode he also gets to be tended to by Aigis, Labrys and Minerva.
So yeah Yosuke would be a good bro to have. Dispite the crap he gets, he's always there for his friends.
Yeah that’s definitely some of the biggest character dialogue between Yosuke and Rise and the whole part he plays in the group. He’s definitely an anchor, hence why things were really intense in the hospital scene when he lost his cool

It is unfortunate that English voiceover Yosuke will call Narukami as Yu, from the beginning. in Japanese culture, They will only call their real names when they are very close. in Japanese version Anime episodes 1-11 Yosuke will call Yu as Narukami. But when an illusion occurs in Episode 12, Yosuke changes to call him to be as real name Yu and Yu will call each other by the same first name Yosuke instead in the first time For me, I feel that it really impacts me more. Anyway, Yosuke is the cutest and my best boi. love him 💕
Yosuke calls Yu by his last name in a fair amount of episodes and to be honest they went through a lot in those episodes so it's normal they call themselves by their first names.

Ryuji, Yosuke and junpei aren’t all comic relief. They all had lost and they all had some overpowered factor. Ryuji took a freaking power charged vorpal blade and a explosion that was freaking huge and lost his future because kamoshida was an a-hole, yosuke lost saki and awakened first and took the hardest hits for the team along with being the most loyal and being able to survive the curse long enough. Oh dear god junpei. He had it the worst. He lost his genuine love of his life that made him not be all flirty.
And he’s the strongest one of them all. He has the spring of life which practically makes him invincible out of battle along with being able to help beat up the wish for death among humanity (temporarily). He also is the most sensible in the answer and he doesn’t take your key if he beats you. Just please junpei had it the worst.
