  • Like many women, Holly has a long dieting history. While she's been able to achieve a great physique, it has come at a cost. Most maintenance calorie formulas put Holly's maintenance calories at over 1800 per day, however her true maintenance is between around 1500-1600 calories per day. She has finally made the commitment to work on optimizing her metabolic rate through reverse dieting so that she doesn't have to live on low calories to maintain her weight forever.

    So glad she's doing this, when she posted on IG that she was aiming for something like 1200 calories a day I knew it was time for a reverse diet. Glad Layne's in your corner, Holly.

    I love this video cause it hits home! But my question for her reverse also includes her training? Is her training staying the same? Cardio staying the same? Or you just adjusting her macros each week?

    I'm gonna predict she loses week one just because sometimes being given the okay to eat more improves compliance and she'll actually still technically be in a deficit (and a big bump in protein helps.) Good stuff guys!

    how did you figure the body fat? I mean she's lean but not 8-9% lean not even close.. she would be shredded and have striations and a ton more vascularity
