    I like the that you have clear audio and show the number reading. I also like how you show pin pointing and the asterisk that shows where the target should be found. I know this sounds elementary, but for a novice occasional hunter like me, it is very educational.

    Nice bracelet... Knew what pretty much everything else was based on the numbers you put up. Nice to have a machine that is very accurate across the board. Of course there are always junk targets that foll you, but you have to dig those pull tab signals! Congrats

    In a lot of parks I go to, mostly in palm beach county, they use mulch so you find a lot aluminum chunks and fired bullets. I figure whatever tree got mulched at one time had been shot and the bullet got spread with the mulch. I think they run street signs through the shredder too. I got the idea cause one day at a mulched playground I found some bullets and a quarter that were chewed up pretty good. Quarter must have been in the tree roots when it went in the shredder.

    enjoyed it, glad to see that you also dirt fish. I found a 50 cal bullet in a local school yard, kind of a surprise. but that is what metal detecting is about, surprises, just some are a lot better than others. do really like to see the yellow and silver though, although have found a few fakes as well. nice to have various detectors for various jobs. thanks for the numbers, helps many people, I try to dig everything and dig tones mainly instead of relying on numbers (they sometimes lie).

    Enjoyable video. I haven't come across a sand area like that in Australia for years. They all seem to be compacted bark chips and rubberised mats around here. There's not much chance of anything sinking into them!

    Well..I've left a lot of jewelry in the ground over the years then. Interesting as sometimes I do dig all those solid 40 to 50 ish numbers and its always been trash. Silver for me has never been under 61 and is usually 81....the same as our Canadian pennies. Gold is usually a solid 53 to 58 high tone, same as a modern pull tab.

      +Steven Lowe The Scoop is called the Howie Scoop. It's hand made by Howie here in South Florida. It's all aluminum and very light. I use the same settings most of the time on dry sand and in saltwater. My normal setup is always the same Pro Zero mode, sensitivity as high as I can get it then I do a manual ground balance on sand or in the water that's about it. But keep in mind TAKE OFF THE COIL COVER (sand and air get's in and will cause noise) plus I use divers grease on all the O rings for the coil, head phone connectors and battery . Let me know if this helps or not. Good luck

    damn, I've been using my AT pro for year now and still no gold anything...a fair bit of silver but no gold, every time I dig a 43 signal it's an aluminum pull top...nice find on the chain.

    Had my AT PRO for 2 months almost and digging right here in S. Florida East Coast. Your info is right on the money Sir! Have you any thoughts about the White's MX Sport vs the AT PRO? White's is about $200.00 more, but is it worth the money versus the AT PRO?

    • @RAdams
      @RAdams  7 лет назад

      sorry I've never had the opportunity to try a Whites metal detector. Hint Hint

    • @valkari67
      @valkari67 7 лет назад

      Hi, I had to answer your question. I had the Whites MX Sport for about 3 months. But I recently sold it on eBay and bought the GARRETT AT PRO. Keep the Garrett AT PRO you have already. Don't waste your money on the WHITES MX SPORT. The Whites and the GARRETT are two totally different machines in a personally sort of way. The Whites is a Bomb. Weighs a ton and will wear your arm out in a blink! The Garretts is a feather compared to the Whites and you can swing it all day. The Whites technology is trying to play catch up and still has glitches. The Garretts AT PRO technology has been around awhile and is easy to deal with. The MX SPORT only has 1 way it deals with the operator. The AT PRO has 2 ways it can be handled. IT HAS the STANDARD OPTION & THE PRO OPTION. Night and day compared to the MX SPORT. it's like driving a corvette or a Lamborghini. Both are great but I'll take the Lambo. The MX SPORT can't fine tune a bottle cap to a quarter unlike the PRO OPTION on the AT PRO. The AT PRO is more advanced! The MX SPORT just has a lot glitter that doesn't really do shit! Since I had the AT PRO, I've been back to those Parks I scoured with the WHITES and found a lot more coins and some jewelry I missed with the Whites. And my ARM didn't fall off!

    • @alanaspopo1955
      @alanaspopo1955 7 лет назад

      Yes. Thanks. I am happy with my AT Pro. It's just the desire to try detectors new to me. I have a feeling that the various detectors out yhere offer a variety of experiences to the individual and until you "Master" your machine you should really keep on using it over and over and try new settings and such. I have purchased several new coils to get a more rich search of my target beaches and parks and have at times been surprised at how good my Garrett is. I have found that the beaches continuosly give up coins under varying conditions

    • @alanaspopo1955
      @alanaspopo1955 7 лет назад +1

      I did purchase a Minelab GoFind 60 and am returning it to Amazon as the bluetooth function refuses to function with either my cell phone or tablet rendering the purchse a waste of time not to mention that this detector, while very light and portable is not really worth spit in comparison to the AT Pro in functionality, sensitivity, and overall performance. I won't say it is a toy, but really not in the same league to my ATP, I find a full range of coins with it, but I am totally disappointed in my level of trust in it. I am returning it and until Minelab creates a GoFind that can match the Garrett, not wasting my time on their starter detectors. Minelab has a great idea, but they need to make a more capable unit for the experienced or even slightly experienced detectorists to find value in purchasing one to add to the team!

    I'm starting to think the West Coast (California) sucks for finding things. I've hit 100+ parks with ace 250. West coast just has no history. Everything is too new. So you never find any OLD stuff. My city was started in 1974. You have to really travel to far places to find anywhere that might have some old stuff.

    • @RAdams
      @RAdams  7 лет назад

      If I lived in California I'd be hunting the old gold mine areas.

    • @nebu7777
      @nebu7777 7 лет назад +1

      For southern california, the gold mine areas are like 8-9 hours north. But you know what, I was up there at a park one day playing a GPS phone game when I looked up and noticed it was the gold discovery site! Sutter's Mill. I had always read about it but I had no idea that I had accidentally ran into it. I just was driving down the road and saw a cool park. They actually let you pan for gold in the river there unless you have a shovel.

    • @RAdams
      @RAdams  7 лет назад

      Very cool. There has to be a lot more gold out there to be found.

    • @jeremy74pow
      @jeremy74pow 7 лет назад

      I live on the treasure coast in Florida, it sucks here too. Too many people detecting the beaches, where I live they kick you out of the parks, any place that may have history has been developed. Oh and can't forget if an Indian may have defecated on a property it becomes a protected state park. No disrespect to the Indians but it just seems ridiculous that we killed millions of them 100 years ago but today you can't metal detect for some loose change cause 100 years ago while they were being killed they may have left some broken pottery. But if you have lots of money to pay people off you can build a gated community.
