- TVS blew us away with the NTorq 125 - a scooter which really upped the ante in the 125cc space. We compared it against the Honda Grazia a short while ago, and it was the TVS that came out on top. But with the recent launch of the Aprilia SR 125 scooter, does it change things in this segment? And what about when you bring in the "old faithful" of this scooter segment, the Suzuki Access 125?
We put all three scooter through proper real world tests that included fuel efficiency, comfort, space, convenience, storage as well as ride quality. And just for good measure, we also threw in some performance tests to find out which of these three takes the crown for the best - the most well-rounded, scooter in the 125cc segment.

I have access 125 se Matt Black variant and I can say that if you are looking for a practical scooter then no other scooter can match the practicality of access. Some pros
1) best footboard space , you can even carry a LPG cylinder which no other scooter can.
2) best in class bootspace
3) after first service in January, my access is giving 52kmpl mileage which is really amazing.
4) and finally looks, if you are looking for some classic retro looking scooter then no competetion go for Matt Black variant and then you are sorted.

An Uncle saying that access looks like an "Uncle Scooter" !! The retro look of Access 125 SE Matte Black is a true piece of beauty and is desirable by most of the youth crowd as well as is a perfect unisex scooter in comparison to tvs, which he never mentioned too. This guy's stats are with no background checks and it's clear his personal choice is TVS, so he leans towards that in every segment.

I have been using Access125 since last 2 years,its the best family scooter.
Pros:-
1) Awesome Ride Quality(due to Telescopic suspension and 12 inch front wheel)
2) Best in class mileage of 50 in city condition.
3) Light weight with steel body.(So better for ladies too.)
4) Wider and longer seat as well as foot board.
5) Engine refinement is top notch even at higher speed.
6) One of the highest boot space which can easily accommodate half face helmet.
7) Most reliable and practical scooter in 125cc segment for longer and better ride.
Cons:
1) Service quality is poor.
2) Resale value is low
Bro, please do read my review again as i have given opinion on 'my scoter' and there is nothing to do with Ntorq/Grazia/SR-125.
Are u sure abt the fuel efficiency, bcuz i m having 5 to 6 access in my frnd circle and all of them complain abt the low fuel efficiency, now the company cant do mistake in all the 6 bikes which my frnds took from different dealers.

suyog ghadi For mileage, you can choose Access, but for features and comfort, Ntorq is the best. I've ridden Ntorq and Aprilia 125. But, Aprilia has two valves but Ntorq has three. Mileage is the same and Ntorq is not so costly. Burgman too is a nice scooter. A scientist named Rishikesh from Kerala, who got an opportunity to visit the Indian President for his studies on road traffic, told me about Ntorq. He lives near my village.
In reliability, new Honda Activa is too poor while comparing with the old one. New Activa doesn't have a life span of the first generation Activa. In every field, we can't find quality products in major brands today. While a product doesn't last long, we will sure go for the next one from the same brand if we are brand conscious. So, sales can be increased. Compare Ntorq and Grazia. Ntorq wins. Thank you.

I own the vespa 150, the bike is very powerful but after riding the ntorq I realised how smooth a scooter can be and how smooth sounding a scooter can be!
nTorq is better. I'm a TVS fan. I even own TVS apachae rtr180. Appreciate when an Indian company show off. I'm proud that, N Torq is an Indian scooter.

Access 125 is the Value for Money scooter here. Refinement even at top speed is unrivalled. I bought it in June 2016 and have done 15k kms. Smoothness and engine sound is pleasant to hear

I recently got gifted Access Matte black special edition on my birthday. Its the best scooter. Its good on space, refinement, performance and comfort. Its great overall.

For comfort one may go for access n ntorq , both provides almost same level of comfort. One who loves cornering can go for aprilia sr. Till now access 125 was ruling ,but tvs ntorq have beat access n sr in almost every thing. This is the fact bro, u believe it or not. If you r comparing access vs ntorq for performance then ntorq has more power n torq than access 125. In power n torq access cant ever beat ntorq. Even top speed is 101 kmph vbox tested.
akshay paradkar this is a segment of practicality not performance..if performance is what you want then go for a bike or scooter of 300cc n up which is void in India at the moment...so overall if you see the access is better practical scooter for the segment the ntorq with more refined engine and loads of space so talking about top speed and all is simply not practical here bro.

Sir access is not all metal body as you said in video...only the front mud guard and front body guard is metal...rest side fenders and back are all plastic..

The speed and accelaration result shown for access 125 are not true.The access does 0 to 60 in 7 -8 seconds and top speed is 95

Fantastic review guys...it was obvious frm the beginning tht ntourq will be the pick ...isnt it...hwever i would like to point out tht plush seat do not necessarily mean comfort fr spending long hours on it....
tryambak shandilya completely agreed dude... But the NTorq's riding position is also very comfortable. The bars are set higher and the floor board is set lower. And that really helps for long hours in the saddle.
I have already bought TVS Ntorq and one word for this best acuity till now.
Aprilia has better cornering, refined engine, better aerodynamics and a stable handlebar & better breaking & reliable engine of Vespa & how it sounds ...which exist on any who calls perfect sports bike as sporting speed matters is very composed..while rest is searching for boot space, digital meter, leg space, Milage...hmm..pls say I love Myntoroucher which gives mileage but its a sports bike. because it isn't ...searching practicality on sports machine and calling a practical scooter a sporty makes useless sense.

Ntorq is really the most appealing, practical and with good performance. It is the only scooter to get this 3 goodies. I feel the ntorq really looks lovely in yellow, in the city it will strike the others compared to the dull red. Overall great work zigwheels😎
Access is elegant looking, most practical, and the most fuel efficient. Also costs the least, that Suzuki engine is a gem and better that the other engine.
I watched some more videos about the comparison on youtube and they say opposite to what youl said about ntorq compared with access..like thr mileage..the suspension..

Best scooter of this year is tvs ntorq but I have to wait a lot to get it and guess what I am still waiting for the delivery. But the best scooter is tvs ntorq. It is best looking in it's matte yellow colour.

i only went and got the ntorq on the sole reason of service.Suzuki's is service is pathetic and charges are always on the higher side.The service experience with my gixxer got me go for tvs. iam not any hater , suzuki makes best engines but service is the downside to it.This is my 1st time with tvs and let's hope everything goes well.And yeah ntorq for sure offers most of everything.

Why Honda Grazia was left out in this comparison?
Access has a decent look which no one can say ODD. Its design is Universal. All age groups can ride this. Access has everything. You should give a view/review based on present and future.
You say that NTORQ is your pick when yu ride it, but what is the durability after some time, its engine and accessories. NTORQ has too much shape and cuts which does not look good on all age groups. Or even some younsters might fell it as ODD design.
