    I just listened to Steve Clark’s guitar isolation right before this and can only say your cover demonstrates why this song was and still wildly popular.

    Thanks for posting this! Hard to really know what the best way to tackle this live is. I really appreciate the opinion of someone who’s actually played it a ton live (I mean…outside of Phil of course 😂). Very clean play through and great tone!

    A buddy and I went down to his basement this past weekend with our guitars and amps and we hammered out some fun tunes. Animal was one of them. He was more rehearsed in it than I but next time we meet I’m going to be able to keep up. Easily Def Leppard’s best song, in my opinion. Great playing on your part. It’s great because I can see the shapes and chords you’re playing and match it to what I’m doing so I know it’s right.

    What pickups do you use I’m assuming Dimarzio super distortion since that’s what Phil uses

    Thanks and great playing! My band want to play this…. I don’t have a whammy bar, they don’t understand … especially the drummer.

    Geezus, I thought I learned this song using Guitar Pro. It seems to be way off. Damn.

    What guitar settings or pedals would you recommend

    • @peterobinson
      @peterobinson  3 года назад +1

      Less gain than you think. Stereo detune or, if you're running in mono, a light chorus, reverb, a touch of delay :-)
