It's worth being older now, to have been young then.
Brother I truly envy you
Great comment. Wish I had fond memories I’ve been useless! Like a human garbage oxygen thief but you stay positive don’t you
couldnt agree more ... feel blessed to have seen Gilmour and Waters, separately, in 2018. amazing shows but would do anything to have seen Floyd in the 70's.
Lucky u
@@slashfan6747 mee too!!♡
Saw this tour in Three Rivers Stadium ( Pittsburgh ). Was 19. My life literally changed that nite. Had the good fortune to see them 4 more times after that concluding in Cleveland Stadium in 94 with Pulse. So fortunate that I was alive and in my prime years the same time that the "Greatest Show On Earth" was changing lives. Shine On............
Great comment. Thanks for not bashing The Later Years shows. My first show was October 20, 1987. My life changed that night, too. Maybe the band was more concise in ‘75, but that Flower didn’t open during Comfortably Numb like 1987, either! Give and take. Saw a jaw-dropping Hey You in 94 in Washington, DC. The best thing coming and going right now is Nick Masons Saucerful of Secrets! It’s pre-72 stuff most have never seen live and those songs LIVE AND BREATHE! Atmosphere abound. Saw it live and saw the new film in the giant cinema at The Carnegie. Attention to detail has to be seen and heard to believe and Nick Mason pointed out one of the guitarists corrected Roger Waters on the way Floyd played a particular number live. That’s why they call him “The professor”. It’s that good.
Why was i born in 2007? I live in Cleveland, there is no even local bands, not even talking about big bands coming to Cleveland..
@@sharkybuddy5192 Well, you do have the best philharmonic orchestra in the United States. At least that's what they say.
@@dragmio I wish I was into classical
Wasn't that the show the inflatable pyramid blew away
oh my god what a beautiful music,
how could you create such pretty music 50 years ago
roger
I saw them on this tour at a stadium in Pittsburgh and in 1977 at an 80,000 seat stadium with 20,000 extra people in Cleveland.
There is so little video of pink Floyd available prior to 1986 that I just wanted to thank you for posting this.
Love these live films of PF from 70's! I was 13 when I discovered Floyd in 75, so i never seen PF live. Thank you!
Me either I could never get tickets
june 22, 1975, Milwaukee county stadium. the band comes out a bit after 8 and says the show is best when its dark so they are going to play some stuff they were working on. they played all of animals then side one of wish you were here, both not out yet. started dark side of the moon and took a break for a severe thunderstorm to pass. finished dark side of the moon then did side 2 of wish you were here. encore was echoes. we were 10 rows from center stage. ticket was $6.50, program $0.25. beautiful memories. I still have the ticket stub and program.
I was also at this show and have good memories of it despite the rain delays and having the stadium lighting turned on which broke the mood. The plane gliding in from the Home base area and crashing behind the stage really took me by surprise! I believe they also played "One of these Days".
Bet ya never seen waters and clapton do the wall in hartford ct...well ya dint miss much the pig flew and clapton played his opryland twang
Damn. What a show
I remember blazing on Red Windowpane that night!
I went to the dark side of the moon concert at the cow palace in 1975 in San Francisco. Best concert of my life
BEST BAND IN THE WORLD........
Yes..rock progressive absolute
Nr mattlica is the best band
After the ROLLING STONES !! and the BEATLES for sure
@@geraldinejasnin7378 avant tout le monde bien sure pink floyd viennent d'une autre galaxie
I saw this show the first of two nights they played in Detroit in 1975. Very exciting; DSOM in second half and "Echoes" for encore!
PINK FLOYD ...... THE GREATES BAND OF ALLTIME
Vancouver 8 April 1975 the tour was called the 'Wish You Were Here' tour, even though the entire second half (after the intermission) was the full Dark Side of the Moon album performed live... I paid $4.00 (plus a .25 cent handling fee) for a ticket. Unbelievable.
Could you imagine if all of them were still here& what it could cost now!!you'd probably have to sell a car.
what a beautiful recording !
Nice this sounds better than the one I have of the same show. I love classic Floyd.
The best band in the world,,,Pink Floyd....
I loved to be stoned earing live Pink Floyd... always a new version -- vision -- and total
comitment and condition ... now Im stoned just by listning !
You're stoned because you're a moron

Yes, my friend ! Ricardo. dear I am Egina. Latvija. Fra Kopenhagen to Nurnberg. Whole of my life I live with Pink Floyd and Freddy. My live with this fantastic people. Love and am together. EGINA.
I just picked up a rolling stone issue and they talk about this concert. It was the last concert they debuted new music without a record supporting it and sheep and dogs were the songs they did
"Thank-You So Much!"
DARK SIDE OF THE MOON = 1973 .... WISH YOU WERE HERE = 1975 .... ANIMALS = 1977 ....... THE WALL = 1979 PINK FLOYD = THE BEST BAND OF THE HISTORY (A MELHOR BANDA DA HISTÓRIA)
Don't forget Meddle in 1970. Its a Masterpiece. As is Obscured by Clouds in 1972!!
@BarryFastCars , I thought their second album was legendary. Of course, with Syd Barrett, the revolutionary of psychedelic music & their first album was grand. Many forget abouth

Saw this tour in Atlanta in 75. Friggin amazing
I love this, truly a relic but this footage is from St. Tropez 1970..oh well. Its never a shame with the mighty floyd!
What do you mean "more or less rare footage"? This is pretty F***ING rare! Thanks for posting!
Thank you
This video is a relic
definitive; always former days were better
congratulations
Detroit City 75, yes i remember them playing this. I really like the ending. Thanks for the posting. I still have DSOTM with the two posters inside. O' btw which one's Pink!
I have audio of just about every show from the Animals tour & many, many more I have collected throughout the years..
congratulations
04/26/1975 That day and that year, I was born sometime in the evening thousands of miles away, maybe just as this songs was playing, who knows.
I feel what you are saying I do I feel the same about my birth year and music only it's twenty years after '77
shame no one ever brought cameras to pink floyd shows more often.
MAESTROS! LEYENDAS! SON MIS HEROES!!! SALUDOS DESDE ESPAÑA!! THANK YOU PINK FLOYD!! :D
Then Waters left and Gilmour cut his hair and started ironing his shirts. :(
Damn that was funny!!.it all went downhill with the ironing!!!
Not only did Gilmour cut his hair he actually washed it too.
Beam me back there scottie! Long hair, flairs, faded levi jacket and a long cigarette with a cardboard box in the end! Not forgetting the Norton by my tent. Perhaps nostalgia is what it used to be. Any footage of the Spitfire flying over us about 9pm?
J’étais là!
PINK FLOYD GREATEST BAND
THIS IS FOOTAGE FROM LIVE IN SAINT TROPEZ! DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE NOTICE IT!?!?!
Yep. Some people are so desperate to get hits...
Felipe Rocha I noticed immediately

beautiful song , rest in peace
I saw them this same tour at Nassau Coliseum in NY when I was 13. Just saw Roger Waters last summer (2018) and it was SO cool to see the same animations and videos to accompany tracks from that and the DSOTM era, as well as newer visuals to accompany certain tracks. Amazingly, within the 20 min or so of the band playing 'Pigs', the verdicts of guilt were announced for both Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen! The crowd went wild when the anti-Trump sequences played.
Haha hah..charade you are!
the music might be from 1975 but the footage is from 1970, St tropez. check the St tropez video(s)
j'aime ce groupe
this is before 1977, so Animals hasn't been released yet so the track names are different.
this is not the footage from this concert, Felipe Rocha is right

nick mason KILLS it here
In any Floyd video that goes to Nick, he’s right on time. Saw Saucerful of Secrets live last year and the new accompanying DVD at the cinema two weeks ago. He is still perfection on percussion at 75!
nice to see pink floyd and not some of them hiding under 20 hired session musicians that happened in the 80's
Belleza
Wishing i had of resherd pink Flydd when i was a tenager
amazing :)
this footage cannot be from a concert in 1975
they are playing Sheep and Sheep (a song from Animals) was recorded in 1977
man, the video footage is definitely not from 1975 but you have to know that they started playing "Sheep" in their winter tours in 1974 with the title of Raving and Drooling. they were going to put Raving and Drooling (Sheep) and You Gotta Be Crazy (Dogs) in the Wish You Were Here album but they rejected the idea, and then in 1976-77 in the recording of Animals they brought back again those songs and started working on them till they (the songs) became Dogs and Sheep.
oh, i thought that that they had come up with all the songs in 1977
wapi erkmen
That is because you are dumb.
@@The1GeorgeLover you're right ,
Matter of fact. They also played the entire
Dark side of the moon in 1972, a year before going into the studio, this is amazing,
I just recently this past year started really looking into their history and appreciate them much more, if anyone reading this , goes and looks into the complete history of what pink floyd went threw in the early years you will also
Have a greater appreciation for them
Not nearly enough footage of David. Speaking for girls.
Ah... this one's a "keeper." LOL We saw this tour, in Boston.
lol'd at the picture in the beginning xD
На все времена....

Aes cuchar este tema vueno
This is St Tropez in 1970 isn't it?
Yes. It is. I don't know why theren't many video records in the Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and Animals era. It,s a mistery.
The film is off sync with the music its painful to watch but the audio is great. Thanks!

I know the video and audio isn't synced but damn either the microphone is trash or David isn't playing the right notes

ThePinkFloydFanGirl just to let you know Raving and Drooling was the original SHEEP not PIGS
Este temava para una miga
Where is the concert footage from?
yeah but that is "sheep" not raving and drooling. lyrics are completely different.
I was there too ..
Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs."
Footage not taken from what we are actually hearing. When will Floyd fans be allowed to see real concert footage from the early days?
Good footage. Too bad its not the matching audio
HHm Jade i do not understand I have worked in the music indstry and not one band i worked with Lip sinked a few had back up drum machines ' Pink Floyd The Best ' stones ' beatles .Rhcp , led zepplen , talking heads , YEAH !!! LONG LIVE ROCK n' ROLL
THEY ARE NOT RUDE the audience during the 1977 tour was RUDE
Video is from live St. Tropez 1970 not 1975
Wrong video...
The music and the video don’t match up some of the video is taken from live at Pompeii
El medio tema
anybody got timestamps for the songs
A lot of standard sixties sound being strung out as roger obviously appears to be 😂
I was there , don't remember which night. LAPD made many drug bust during the week!
Because the lyrics were changed to suit the Animals concept. Duh.
Es poco tiempo de 14 minutos, dura mucho más

1:08 is that you David Coverdale?
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Setlist?
David Gilmour, you goddamned beautiful creature. Why was i born in 1990? I missed everything i ever wanted to see, and now im 22 year old miss american dull existance #9000, in 2012, with nothing but a guitar, and a fucking old David Gilmour who i will bet is all snuggied up in some houseboat with notions of butterfly beauty or some stupid basic life is ending brain spoof.. with diahrrea on deck. and a little toot every so often that could singe every throat in the room. whew
who the hell wrote the track listing in the description...you gotta be crazy??..raving and drooling??
я люблб
Music's great! The photography sucks. Those days they always did close ups usually of the guy not doing the solo and forgot it was a band to show together.
