For me, it’s the fender and quarter panel bump outs that make the Capri cool. A buddy had one in high school back in the 80’s and I always loved that shape. Looks like a road racer. I’d restomod that thing with lowered upgraded suspension, 4-square wide tires and wheels, and put in a powertrain from a more modern GT mustang with engine mods. Anything over 400 hp would be tons of fun!
I had a Black and Yellow one, Called her Buzz, my dad taught me how to drive a shift on this car in a PA state park on a hill. He took me for a test drive to see if u liked it, jumped out on a hill, (this was off season, no one around) and told me if I dont burn up the clutch it was mine. I dont remember what happened to her. Thus was in 93.
Love the capri cars, this car deserves some love, the anniversary wheels look really good on her, our impulse buys usually needs restoration, we love them though
My dad owns a black and gray one almost exactly like that except it’s a 5 speed. That car is just a good looking altogether and the bubble hatch is only getting more rare!

Good looking Capri. I feel you need to keep this one. You can search and find Mustangs BUT it is much more difficult to find a nice Capri…… and a T-top!!!!! I say do some fine tuning on this one and enjoy it for years to come 😎👍
I always liked the front & rear side markers on the capri... The larger wing on the bubble hatch is a plus... If you get your hands on the ASC ground effects that's a definite bonus

Hell yeah man if there's a car that you have ever had that you needed to keep its that one , its in very very good condition and what car that old doesn't need a little something done to it and once you get it done it will be worth more than the other's IMO just because you don't see them everyday and look at how cool that thing is, I love it man so keep it, fix it, and enjoy the hell out of it for life because I bet you won't be able to find one again and you will regret everyday trust me I know because I sold a car that I will never be able to get again so take it from my experience. All of the other ones are a little less rare and you will more than likely find more of those than that Capri. That's a badass looking car as well and it would be really tempting to put a badass 347 or something in it but make the motor look as stock as possible so that nobody would know until you fired it up and heard that chop chop 😁 KEEP IIIIIIIIIIIITTTTT!!!!! 😁🤣 You probably just sold it already before the video uploaded that fast 😂🤣 just kidding but try to keep it , do it for the channel. There you go let that car be the channel mascot👍🏽🚗💨💨

@@RCREVEALED if u do all of the work it will take more time than anything because everything that is wrong with it is cheap little things just more labor than anything and we already know that u know how to paint so that will be good content on the channel as well

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(!!!!!

I would keep it. Only thing that would make it better is if it was a five speed. I had a 86 Capri 5.0 five speed. I miss that car.

I had a 86 ASC convertible 5spd. But had same interior with a 85 H.O a/c delete 5spd. But mine was Colpso Coral red.

Basically the same car as a Mustang 5.0 but cheaper for insurance as the Mercury Capri wasn't really a sport car.
