I have to admit i have been studying ICT free stuff on youtube, that alone brought my 'trading' at that time it was more of a guessing and chasing the price, to a whole new level, to confidence and assurance in what was happening on the charts, that was a game changer for forex markets - mind blown! a heartfelt thank you Michael for your time and your power to continue through all the hating and mobbing. I just recently found this channel and watched all the playlists. I'm gonna try to summarize concisely what I learned in order to trade short term. 1. Establish market phase(Daily Timeframe): - Draw on liquidity( highs and lows not tested, clean highs/lows) - L7 concept - Imbalance (FGV on premium and discount areas, orderblocks) - USDX SMT Analysis - Swings ( 3candle formation) - Direction: 9/18 ema, although that's not necessary it helps a lot as a beginner. 2. Determine price location(1Hr/15m): Look for: - Orderblocks - stop runs - Liquidity Voids (its hard to me to trade that) 3. Entry pattern(5min to 1min): - Break of structure and return to an orderblock or FVG - Break of structure and return to a breaker block 4. Time of trading: - True day: midnight to 3pm Ny time - Look for trades between 2am - 5am or 7am - 10am - medium to high impact news (economic calendar) - weekly range ( mon - wed) 5.Risk management - maximum 2 trades per day - risk 1% to 2%max - If you lose a trade cut the risk in half 6. trade management - use fib levels - use previous leg (areas where people might have their stops Am i missing something or I'm on the right track? thanks for all the knowledge Michael. Thanks Boss. Going back through recordings and making a written summary of the episodes. I have found what I think is the key for me, felt like a shift in perspective occurred. This is based on the episode 9 recording, approx. 9:25 into the recording. You are illustrating the price action of the 1 minute chart as it approaches a prior bullish order block and fair value gap. The algo telegraphs what is about to happen on the micro scale of the 1 minute chart. 2 bullish imbalance candles both break a prior high and create a FVG. When that FVG holds for a couple of retests, price then explodes up in a large imbalance candle that forces out shorts and creates chasing by longs. More important than the signal to go long is the realization that if I am not seeing that price action occurring, that there is nothing to do, stay away, don't get chopped up. Thanks again.

Love the way I can now determine levels and look the market similar to you. At first when I use to watch your videos I use to think I understand but I didn't. Seriously this video brought A LOT of the nuances together for me. Thanks for explaining the reasons and the logic behind why you chose certain swing lows over another as well as going over several narratives behind the setups. As for order blocks, I don't think I understand it entirely (which I think is expected)... For some reason I thought it would be the opening price of that first down-close candle around 14:40 est since it was the 'starting price of the series of down-close candles.' Technically, that price around 14550 would have worked, but the stop would have been much wider. I hope I can catch on and learn how to recognize order blocks with my own eyes. Looking forward to it if you do happen to cover more details in this course (maybe you won't like you mentioned earlier in the videos or maybe you already did in other videos I have yet to watch). In any case, I really appreciate your time and education. You're style of teaching is top-tier.

i learned almost everything that im watching in this channel because of another person, now i know where did he learn everyting, and my set up is about if london or NY starting takes the low of the day before then im buying to take london high if the market is bearish or looking for a fair value gap, sometimes price hasnt take the high or the low sooo if i see an oportunity to sell to take the low then im taking it, but definitely im getting value from this and undesrtanding things i didnt. thank you ICT
once i started seeing FVG's in my trading i have been on a killstreak 40/50 sticking the setup letting price come to me and even setting buy/sell limit orders and having them play out to levels love you ICT

After rewatching this three times, while mixing in with your more recent videos. I understand why you say stuff now "I dont have to go through the details right now", because there are so many golden nuggets that just went over my head which i could tell you were trying your best to fit into Beginner form.

Now I understand what u meant in the market primer series when u said when u understand all the moving parts and don't just try to get understanding from one video it becomes easy then. Love the way I can now determine levels and look the market similar to you. At first when I use to watch your videos I use to think I understand but I didn't. Seriously this video brought A LOT of the nuances together for me. Thanks for explaining the reasons and the logic behind why you chose certain swing lows over another as well as going over several narratives behind the setups.
As for order blocks, I don't think I understand it entirely (which I think is expected)... For some reason I thought it would be the opening price of that first down-close candle around 14:40 est since it was the 'starting price of the series of down-close candles.' Technically, that price around 14550 would have worked, but the stop would have been much wider. I hope I can catch on and learn how to recognize order blocks with my own eyes.
Looking forward to it if you do happen to cover more details in this course (maybe you won't like you mentioned earlier in the videos or maybe you already did in other videos I have yet to watch). In any case, I really appreciate your time and education. You're style of teaching is top-tier.
