He is 100% right about making big money and then going back in and loosing it all, or a big part of it. I use to do it all the freaking time and it would drive me crazy. I no longer do that, if I have an abnormally large day, normally I will take the following day off as well to let the overconfidence and emotions die down. These days in my trading, I trade less than I ever had, and make more than I ever had. Spend more time sharpening your edge than using it.

Hello, ICT. Ive been following your mentorship videos very recently after a year of trading by myself, some paid learning groups, etc. Over the last year i've found what works for me and the patterns of the market that ive been tracking myself, since then ive thrown 95% of tools that were borderline astrology out the window. I took a select few set ups from others and fairly decent traders that seemed to work well for me and made it better by adding variables that seemed to improve the probability of the trades. Unknowingly i was starting to trade very similarly to you. Im glad i came across your videos, it validates my theories and ive been learning WHY these variables such as liquidity hunts, imbalance fills, are important. Looking at my trading journal ive also learned why some trades failed and why some worked, of course probability is a factor but if i knew what i knew now from these videos, id have much better win rate. I really don't understand the hate you get, everyone has a different style of trading, and mentors are not perfect. These youtube videos are free, and even if you dont end up adopting this style of trading theres no way you cant get any value from this. I'm not one to pedestalize anyone including teachers etc, but if ANYONE on youtube knows what their talking , you are it. I'm really enjoying these mentorship series and learning a lot, so thanks ICT, and keep it coming! :)

Thanks for your time sir, I had my bias as bearish but those huge rally from London open & new York open made me doubt my bias only to see market turning back again into the bearish bias. The lows/ highs before the session opens once broken to set up a new high after the open especially with that FVG and price came back to it before going to take out the new made high, that's threw me off. It absolutely made me change bias to looking higher
For the first time since I've started trading (multiple asset classes), I feel like I'm actually learning something, and when I'm watching price I actually understand what's happening rather than looking for random shapes and patters in the candlesticks. I'm still trading only demo, but every mistake I make now feels like I'm actually learning something to do better and pay attention to next time, rather than just a vague idea or obscure reason why my trade didn't work out. I back tested on a FVG, And to be honest... its everything you've thought. Even back tested it and previous years and the most year came to clear the FVG... thanks for your teachings... am really learning alot..
In ICT, I trust. I just reviewed my review of the prior videos. I reviewed my reviews of my notes. I have a higher level of understanding now of the lessons than when my initial reviews. The “quite while you’re ahead” advice at the end following a big winner is so underrated. I don’t grab 200pts home runs every 4h nor every day nor every week… so if I just grabbed one I shouldn’t think I’m gonna get another prompto, yet my ego is screaming otherwise. Always better to appease that ego with a silent victory lap than another chip on the table

One question, is it possible for you to create a video guide on how you normally approach/ mark up your charts? --- For example, "When I get on the charts, the first thing I do is mark up 8:30a candle, then I look for imbalances /FVG, then daily highs/lows to be targeted and why, etc"....or something along those lines. This would be SO helpful! 🙏🏾 Again, I apologize if you've already covered this before and I may have missed it.

Hi Michael, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I came across your mentorship videos recently and have started incorporating some of these concepts into my trading. When looking for the Faraday gaps, are we supposed to be looking for them in the run AFTER the price breaks a previous high? Or can we enter on Faraday gaps BEFORE the previous high? I noticed at 25:03 you mentioned we can use the Faraday gap BEFORE the previous high, but after watching Episode 6 I was under the impression that we should be entering on a Faraday gap AFTER the high is broken. When I'm trading, I have been waiting for a pullback into the Faraday gap AFTER the high is broken and sometimes it doesn't pull back and I feel like I'm missing out on the trade, so would greatly appreciate some clarification there. Thank you!!

I don't know what happened, the first time I heard your paint roller analogy I just took it for 'something that goes down has to go up' but this video, something suddenly just clicked. That paint roller comparison is too accurate, you can see it in every chart and it's scary how it's made to work against anybody entering the market uninformed to clean them up nice and quick. I have to hold myself back from binging your videos and analyze after every single one instead. Your efforts are very much appreciated!

Hey ICT, love the content. Pure unadulterated price action. question about draw on liquidity. After a run down (ES 2-10 to 2-14) we retraced back up into a premium above the 50% then started a new bearish trend down. Is it reasonable to expect the new bearish leg to do a 50% retracement too before taking out that low from 1/24? I dont see FVG's or other things drawing up. But this seems like a possibility to expect before the inevitable 4212 (not expecting it, but considering as a possibility). Ty for sharing your knowledge in this series.

The first high of today's session at around 9:53 broke down hard and in the 1m chart went below a short term low and created a FVG. I took a short there and had my SL taken (DEMO). How did you know, that this wasn't the right trade, but instead waited for the second high? Thx

I definitely remember back in the 90's getting the chart books and all week filling the bars in by hand. That is when I first started trading futures contracts. My journey started back then with Ken Roberts, The Worlds Most Powerful Money Manual. I paid for that! I thank you Michael for giving your knowledge, experience and findings from your journey so "freely"!
Found your content about a month ago. Started to see better results pretty quickly. Granted, I get plenty of losing trades still, which I attribute to my lack of practice, but I’m definitely winning a lot more than before
I love axioms and always remember you saying your trading plan should fit on a business card so what I have concluded is “prices are already set, it is now up to the market to fill in the gaps” hope you see this Michael, you’ve changed my life massively

Concept of "nested" long-term / intermediate /short-term highs/lows (10:00) is really key to me. It is detailed in L. William's more recent book: "LT secrets for ST Trading".

Thanks for your time sir, I had my bias as bearish but those huge rally from London open & new York open made me doubt my bias only to see market turning back again into the bearish bias. The lows/ highs before the session opens once broken to set up a new high after the open especially with that FVG and price came back to it before going to take out the new made high, that's threw me off. It absolutely made me change bias to looking higher

For the first time since I've started trading (multiple asset classes), I feel like I'm actually learning something, and when I'm watching price I actually understand what's happening rather than looking for random shapes and patters in the candlesticks.
I'm still trading only demo, but every mistake I make now feels like I'm actually learning something to do better and pay attention to next time, rather than just a vague idea or obscure reason why my trade didn't work out.

I back tested on a FVG, And to be honest... its everything you've thought. Even back tested it and previous years and the most year came to clear the FVG... thanks for your teachings... am really learning alot..

I just reviewed my review of the prior videos. I reviewed my reviews of my notes. I have a higher level of understanding now of the lessons than when my initial reviews. I don’t grab 200pts home runs every 4h nor every day nor every week… so if I just grabbed one I shouldn’t think I’m gonna get another prompto, yet my ego is screaming otherwise. Always better to appease that ego with a silent victory lap than another chip on the table

One question, is it possible for you to create a video guide on how you normally approach/ mark up your charts? ---
For example, "When I get on the charts, the first thing I do is mark up 8:30a candle, then I look for imbalances /FVG, then daily highs/lows to be targeted and why, etc"....or something along those lines.

Hi Michael, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I came across your mentorship videos recently and have started incorporating some of these concepts into my trading. When looking for the Faraday gaps, are we supposed to be looking for them in the run AFTER the price breaks a previous high? Or can we enter on Faraday gaps BEFORE the previous high? I noticed at 25:03 you mentioned we can use the Faraday gap BEFORE the previous high, but after watching Episode 6 I was under the impression that we should be entering on a Faraday gap AFTER the high is broken. When I'm trading, I have been waiting for a pullback into the Faraday gap AFTER the high is broken and sometimes it doesn't pull back and I feel like I'm missing out on the trade, so would greatly appreciate some clarification there. Thank you!!

I don't know what happened, the first time I heard your paint roller analogy I just took it for 'something that goes down has to go up' but this video, something suddenly just clicked.
That paint roller comparison is too accurate, you can see it in every chart and it's scary how it's made to work against anybody entering the market uninformed to clean them up nice and quick.
I have to hold myself back from binging your videos and analyze after every single one instead. Your efforts are very much appreciated!

Hey ICT, love the content. Pure unadulterated price action. question about draw on liquidity. After a run down (ES 2-10 to 2-14) we retraced back up into a premium above the 50% then started a new bearish trend down. Is it reasonable to expect the new bearish leg to do a 50% retracement too before taking out that low from 1/24? I dont see FVG's or other things drawing up. But this seems like a possibility to expect before the inevitable 4212 (not expecting it, but considering as a possibility). Ty for sharing your knowledge in this series.

Hi ICT, love the content you are putting out there. One question regarding todays trade. The first high of today's session at around 9:53 broke down hard and in the 1m chart went below a short term low and created a FVG. I took a short there and had my SL taken (DEMO). How did you know, that this wasn't the right trade, but instead waited for the second high? Thx
