I'm proud to have gone to a school with one of the biggest and best marching bands in the South (the James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes) and I will freely admit NOTHING goes anywhere near as hard as an HBCU band when they're on a roll. Frigging awesome.
Grambling’s band is AWESOME!!! Their version of “the neck” sounds better than the other versions played by other schools!!! That’s a CLASSY band!!!🖤💛🖤💛❤️
@@kendrickfreeman4249 Norfolk??? Please stop being delusional. 🖤💛🖤💛❤️ I’m all about HBCU love but PLEASE be honest. You KNOW Grambling’s version is a lot better!!!!
Howard has the best version overall from a musical aspect especially if we are talking about neck specifically the part at the end was a different song.
It's an HBCU, Historically Black College/University. The majority of students there are black These schools exist because they were a necessity in a time where black students did not receive the same proper education as white students in universities. So HBCUs came to be. These schools still exist, and lots of black students excel in those environments. Almost went to an HBCU myself but decided against it, as I'd attended predominantly black schools my whole life and wanted to expand my social circles. There's nothing inherently wrong with your question but it could seem rude to people at first. Lots of people here in the States forget that not everyone is aware of every political and racial affair that we have gone through as a nation, including others that have lived here for their whole lives. Cheers, have a nice day Kateryna
You might not understand what I’m saying but this a HBCU aka historically black college and universities that is one of the reasons most of them are black but some members art white or a different race as well so to answer your question not all of them are black you can look up what a HBCU is and you can thank me later😌
Ooh, when the saxes came in!! 💕
The sousaphones hit different though
