I will fill them up ( using your recipe ) , put the stopper in and then I'll squeeze a little oil onto the wood in the cap that way the customer can smell the scent it has, without losing what is in the bottle .
Good idea
Perfect idea
I get the the perfume oil what the with and Green thing alcohol?
Great idea!
You’re the man! You have a video for about every question I’ve searched! Lol
No seriously! I love how much he’s helping for literally EVERYTHING
Thank you for the great video, Jeff. And thank you for always explaining things in layman terms so a newbie such as myself understands everything. I really appreciate it!!
Thank you, I'm glad people are liking the videos. :)
I have these and one is in my car. It is wonderful.
Thanks for this info! How long do u say one bottle lasts?
If you dont have a funnel or a bottle with a fancy shhhmancy tip small enough to fit in the mood mojos you can also use a plain ol pipette to fill them up
Crip2Knyght That a great thing to use. Syringe or a dropper also works.
@@StandleyHandcrafted yup those will work great as well. Great video once again jeff im sure you wont have any issue selling these on your website
P.s. say hi to kiki for me please
As little as these are how would you put a label on these your the bomb
I’m a newbie from the u.k and I know it’s 4 years old now but I’m with moonstar what is the dispenser thing called they must sell them on Amazon I done about a dozen last night with a pipette and had just as much liquid on my table top when I finished.
Your are truly inspirational... i didnt know how to do this. Thanks again. I purchase 3 boxes to add to my candle line
Jeff a big THANK YOU for sharing all your knowledge - I have learned so much and it always accurate - wishing you every success in your store etc
Thanks so much for making this video
Run that beat back. Lol thanks again for the knowledge and time.
These are SO cute
I just ordered these!! Thank you for sharing this video!! I need just to order the difusser base
Thank you so much for the video, just about to order myself! Also I got my presto warmer today and I can’t wait to finish my line and get out there and sell!
How is your line going?
Thank you!!! You really have help me with my candle business, and most questions, you had the answers:>)
Thanks so much. We’ll definitely be adding these to our store!
They're a really nice addition
I appreciate you making this video!! There is ONE picture of the vessel on the website... I just had no clue what to expect! Thank you!
I received mine a week ago-really cute. You have to get the wood wet, too. I hope they sell! I used essential oils in mine. Thanks, Jeff!
LKim AGarrett Any idea how long these are supposed to last?
@@CleanwithChristina probably a month
I've been waiting for this recipe! Thanks Jeff!
New to your channel. You are so good at teaching. Thank you so much! So excited for these! They are adorable!
Thank you!
These are fantastic !!
I have been struggling to make car diffusers that emit any real fragrance to the car or small restroom. I'm using Candle Science Reed Diffuser Base and Candle Science fragrance oils listed as compatible with the base, but they always disappoint. I'm wondering if I'm using too little fragrance oil. I will try one more time with a stronger ratio of FO to base. Thank you for the video. I was ready to give up.
That music at the beginning Jeff! Sounds like you have bigger plans for the diffuser than just hanging it in the car! 😁😁😂😂 😉😉
There were zero directions with these and it was a little frustrating so thank you for this definitely!! One thing I didn't hear in the video and may have missed is that whole plastic stopper deal? A tad worried abt that because it looks like like a customer will have to take that out frequently to "re-wet" the wood and we all know that could be a disaster. Is that the case? Because the liquid's not going to get to that through the wood.
Stanley thank you for always putting insightful content out. Quick question how do you package the diffusers for markets? I was thinking about using small plastic bags that would trap the fragrance
So to make it simple add 2 oz of Reed diffuser oil and 1 oz of fragrance oil? Wow awesome
Great presentation
Thank You
I had made these in the past but “forgot “ how
Now I can make them 👍
Can you show where you got the bottle/tip used to mix the oil/diffuser in that’s awesome
Thanks for the video. Do you know how long these last?
Do we not go by the IFRA sheet for the % to use for diffusers? Each FO has diff % and some as low as 3% like fruit loops.
Hi Jeff can I use Arabian oils for the diffusers?
Hi . So I did the 33% ratio but a customers feedback for a particular fragrance said they could not smell anything. Wondered what I could do to fix this. Thanks
Thanks for the video! Just two questions, do you have any idea on how to deliver these without the oils being soaked into the wood? And, is it possible to add perfume into these car diffusers instead? If yes, can you make a video on how to do that please! Thank you.
I would purchase wee plastic dropper bottles and put the perfume in that so the customer can fill it up when they get it.
Thanks I was thinking about ordering these
They're really slick little things. I have one hanging in the bathroom now.
Does the stopper needs to be put back on before keeping it in the car or the stopper needs to be taken off ?
stopper off when in car
Thanks for the video.
Can you add the link for the squeeze bottle?
Awesome video , thanks for putting this together super helpful 😌
Can the base be mixed with any essential oil for candles?
Thank you 💕💕
Awesome 👏🏻
Thanks for sharing Jeff! I’m going to try these out! Any idea on how long the fragrance/ mixture lasts on it’s being used in the car? Thanks!
Christina DePino I’m wondering this as well!!
Do you put warning labels on these?
I just found out about this beauty 😍 I'm in love 💕 please tell me how you use it. Thanks 🙏
brilliant video, im now a subscriber :)
Audi b8 s4 Sprint avant Thank you!
hey what diffuser base are you using? Love the video and Thank you
watching your video again lol
have you your self tested these in your car???
if so how long did one last and was the scent strong ???
I'm currently making these but using 100% fragrance oil! Smell amazing
I wouldn’t put 100% oil. Too harsh to breathe in.
@@fallontrenter8970 all seems fine for the past year?
@@ViralEye1 how much does it take to fill 1 bottle and long does it last? Approx
@@fallontrenter8970 wouldn’t either
Thank you for sharing this tutorial and your knowledge about scents. Do you prefer Natures Garden for your FO’s or are you using Pink Sugar for this example for the diffusers? Thank you for your time!
Hi, Jeff! I hope you share some tips regarding glass adhesion which is the biggest problem I have with my candles. :( Thank you soooo sooo much. Love your channel! :)
Warming your vessels in the oven for a few minutes usually helps. Prior to wicking. Or you can use a heat gun.
I always wondered how to make these. Thanks. Do you label them or leave as is. Also what if a customer wants to refill it?
When I bought these the instructions from Dream Vessels didn't say anything about reed diffuser base. I used straight FO. Works great. Do I need the "base"? I used Black Opium.
The FO probably works fine and even stronger. The base helps even it out if it's a stronger scent.
I did the same thing straight fo. No videos to tell me otherwise. But now I know.
Does it last long using just FO?
@standleyhandcrafted do we remove the plastic stopper before hanging it?
@@Minnettescandlesandessentials yes
How do you label the diffusers? Please and thank you 😊
Hi, how can i convert my body perfume to be used as a car fragrance.
What were the name of the products u put in there. I couldn’t quiet understand what they were both called. Great video.
Great video txs
How do you soak the cork with out all the liquid coming out xx
I would like to know this as well
Thank you
Does that ratio apply to all fragrances or just the one your using? A fragrance I want to use says up to 15%.
Very good video i bit confuse about mixing ratio
Are all reed bases created equal? Or is there one company that you recommend more than others? How about scents...are all candle fragrances good for reeds and car diffusers?
Nice vid but How long will it last?
Hi. I just brought these for my up and coming business. How do I tell my customers how to use these? Do I take the top and turn it upside down to soak the wood then hang it up?
I put a little business card sized paper with instructions saying
1. Remove the top.
2. Remove the rubber stopper.
3. Replace cap.
4. Turn upside down for a couple seconds. Hang where desired and turn upside periodically.
@@courtneysarkinen7410 Hi Courtney, just wondering if your customers had any complaints with these types of car diffusers?
What would be the correct sizing on hand tags for these please?
Hey just wondering instead of using fragrance oil is ladies perfume/aftershave work the same? Thank you!
how long do they last when putting in a car
Would it work with just fragrance oil or is it necessary to add a diffuser base?
Hi Jeff do you know what the formula would be for an electric diffuser?
can you just use fractioned coconut oil instead of that diffuser base? and what about perfume?
I order some of these but they come with car vent clips, which for me, is wayyyyy better, as my state has a law where we can’t hang anything on the rare view mirror. I got them in black, silver and gold as well
Can I use my perfume and fill it up instead?
Hi can I pour a regular home diffuser into the car diffuser and use that?
Aztec's Reed Difuser Base is almost half the price. Is there a quality difference?
I will get some and test it against CS
Do I need to add a preservative even if I use a reed diffuser base?
Great video. I was thinking of using sweet Almond Oil. I’ve never used red diffuser base. Wonder what it’s made of? Maybe there’s a reason to use the base and not oil. Does their website say how long these last? Thanks!
I will have to check and see what the base oil is.
Most reed base oil is 75%DPG and 25% Ethanol
DPG(dipropylene glycol)
How do you package the car fresheners?
Which is better?the reed diffuser base or perfume alcohol base?
Hi Jeff, first off I'd like to say that I love your videos.
I am however a little confused about the ratio. im using CS coconut lime and the website says that it is diffuser base compatible "up to 25%". Actually most of the scents if not all say "up to 25%" What does that mean? I can mix it 25% FO to 75% base? Why did you use 33% FO?
I would like to know also. All my fragrances say up to 25% for diffusers.
I tried what the website suggested and put one in the car to Try out . But I feel its not strong enough .so I'm going to try this method .
Can you use just fragrance oil?
Where can i find the squeeze bottle with the metal tip?
how do you keep it from getting on the string i know it needs to be on the wood to scent the car but most people don't want oil on the mirror where most are going to hang them thx
Do you have to a have diffuser base ? Can you just use fo straight? Curious if the diffuser base helps it throw?
Got these & followed the same recipe.. i can't smell them at all 😔 wondering if i can go 2 part base & 2 part oil
Make sure the fragrance oil you choose is compatible with red diffusers. Your may be able to increase the ratio depending on the base and pulls you selected.
I find you need to put them upside down for a while before use, then every now and then turn them again. You need to make sure the wooden bit is always sort of wet
I had the same issue scent was there but it was not throwing or filling my car so I decided to pull the string through the bottom of the top and sit it the neck of the bottle screw top back on an voilà fragrance threw tremendously better 🤗
If you are planning on making these to add to shop, do you have to add a safety label? Thanks
Can I use the same Reed diffuser base for room sprays?
Hi Jeff. I'm curious to know how you package the final product :)
I only sold one set of these and haven't gone further than that. I would like to find a way to seal them a little better and then package them
How are you all packing this product ? Im worried if they will leak? I own a store and a booth.. My booth Im sure they will get knocked around also with shipping them ? Thank you so kindly ..
I noticed he pulled out a little plug. Maybe you can put it back in and hopefully that will help with leaking.
They leak bad! I just made a batch! I don’t get how these products are selling as they are not practical? Once the stopper is out the holes drilled for the rope hanger mean it’s not a sealed unit & if the unit ends up on its side for whatever reason the liquid escapes. So reading others instructions to turn this upside down makes me wonder .. have you actually tried this. I use essential oils & Augeo Multi clean reed oil base ( 25% fragrance to 75% base ration) I use 50/50 for the less pungent & thinner oils. The only way you can stop leakage is using grape seed oil as a diffuserr base to thicken the oil. Reed diffuser oil in these units are just too think to work. Only because of the holes. Any diffuser unit in a car needs to be upright & that’s why I prefer the one ones with small cork reeds that clip in to the car. Once they are clipped you don’t need pull them out to shake & they will just stay there & diffuser away. Any unit you need to agitate or turn upside down is just not practical in my opinion. Accidents happen, but these diffusers are the worst on the market & yet I’m seeing them everywhere. My opinion would be take out the stopper & just leave. The cork is porous & their are holes drilled for the rope so fragrance escapes. No need to tip these little bottles every few days to keep saturating the cork, that’s when the problems come. A plastic stopper stops leaking in transit & storage, but the idea is you remove this when in use. Maybe I’m the only one who is not seeing the positives in these. I’ve tried & tested. I have risk assessed it. We have to remember not everyone reads instructions & the natural response with these bottles is to shake them. If you’re stuck in your car covered in fragrance or essential oil, then we have a huge issue. Allergies, unable to wash your hands etc etc. I just don’t rate these from a safety & practical point of view .
After following the instructions I’m still struggling to get my car diffusers to release scent , I just can’t smell anything ‘what could I be doing wrong’? I’m using good quality fragrance and diffuser oil but it’s just not working for me , are there any other tip for what I’m doing wrong
Thanks
Are you sure you tipped the bottle over for 1-2secs so the wooden cap absorbs the oils?
I can't smell anything either. I turned the bottle upside down for five minutes and nothing.
Hi how long are they ment to last for, if the stopper is off mine only lasted a week 😊
Hi sir! What kind of diluent you used with essential oils? Can i use denatured alcohol?
How do you get the oils to smell constant? I feel like all the scents I have come and go?
Do you know a reed diffuser base which is not a pre blended product. I bought some grape seed oil but it doesn't seem to work that well. I have heard the dipropaline glycol and alcohol mix is good. But what do commercial brands use or what has the best performance?
Yes this is what they use 75%DPG and 25% Ethanol
Can I make my car diffuser with room spray base
What does the diffuser base do? And what’s the different in just adding Fragrance oil and FO with base?
Can you use these in oil diffusers like the wax warmers
Hello, what is a common reed diffuser base consist of? Dipropylene glycol and dist. water? Why dipropylene glycol is so difficult to find?
Any follow up videos of these as well??
I read one of his comments that he ran into leaking issues so he’s not selling them
How long does it last?
Do you have to use a base???
Can I ask,do you need warning label for car diffusers, if so how to label as it is so small, many thanks, Janet.
I see a lot of people are asking this question but no answer yet. So I was wondering if you got an answer yet.
Yes you will need a warning label because there is ethanol in the base and it is flammable
How do you package these to sale ?
How long does these diffusers last?
Once these has been made how long does the scent last
months
@@missmary5048 Really? I was wondering also how this will last and work it?
