It's weird to see people who supported the trucker protest in Canada which shut down a city criticize these student protestors in America.
With Amber it’s all about maintaining and entrenching existing power structures. If the cause helps those aims, then anything goes. If it challenges them even a little, any inconvenience is “violent” and an excuse to sic the militarized police on people
The Canadian truckers weren't intimidating anyone.
@@phillippac.7469 Neither are these protesters. But they're accused of intimidation just like the truckers were.
@darrellbryant1018
Nope, that is incorrect. I have seen lots of videos of the activists harassing, intimidating and physically assaulting people. Not one video of a Canadian trucker intimidating or harassing or assaulting anyone.
@@phillippac.7469 I'm sure you have, like the case of the girl who was allegedly stabbed in the eye, which later proved to be false, or the guy shouting k!ll the jews who was actually a Zionist. I imagine you've seen a fair amount of propaganda concerning this protest. I mean there was plenty of that going around during the trucker protest. The real issue is how readily people accept propaganda that aligns against those they disagree with. But honestly, that tactic has become quite tiresome.
The American people are waking up.
Let's be honest: the media needed to get this done and out of the way so they could go back to talking about nothing but Trump all the time.

It also defeats the purpose of protesting in the first place. Also MLK since everything is argument by MLK authority on this subject. I would love to hear Amber comment on the police throwing innocent bystanders-- NOT protesters-- To the ground and zip tying their hands. There was one video I watched where a guy was just taking photos, and the cop bumped into him, then turned around and slammed him on the ground, zip tied his hands, and then dragged his unconscious body away BY THE FEET. I've also seen countless videos of the officers throwing older people on the ground, in some cases who were only trying to de-escalate. In one of the videos they slammed an older lady down with her face on the sidewalk (like 6 inches from grass) as she screamed and cried out in pain. This is not the kind of police behavior that I stood up for during the BLM movement. This is just disgusting and these conflict-hungry officers need to be held accountable.

AD in bad faith again: a shield from truncheons is hardly a weapon.
Amber always articulates her points very well and does her research, people should definitely be allowed to peacefully protest but it becomes a problem when protestors take over public areas and dictate who is allowed access and as numerous videos have shown they are not allowing students who are clearly visibly jewish to enter, some classes have been cancelled and some graduation ceremonies have also been cancelled, and after taking over a building as well as public areas and refusing to leave which is civil disobedience not peaceful protesting they demand immunity along with food, they are so naive and are causing more harm to the cause and turning people off supporting them including the millions of students across the country that pay a fortune to attend and are not part of any side but are being affected, protest where the powerful are like the capitol building or whitehouse, it likely won't make a difference but it will not alienate people in the way that these protests have, they have been nothing but a distraction from what is actually happening in palestine.
These protests are like a circus. They make a mockery of important protests in American history. The protesters truly demonstrate the white privilege that we all detest. The fraternity guys at unc and ol mis are absolutely inspiring to stand up for the American flag in the face of these mobs. They are the heroes of this story.
Mlk protesters were peaceful. They were attacked by the violent mob, they weren't the violent mob. Americans don't support these protesters.
Amber makes a great point I've never considered. Students can investigate the investments of universities and choose schools that have portfolios that supports their activism. Don't pay $80 thousand tuitions. They need to give up their iPhones and get off of RUclips.
