So for everyone asking; this pineapple farm is owned by my parents. My dad is Iranian and my mom is Ghanaian. They started in 1993 with 200 hectares and today the Queen’s farm is about 1000 hectares big. The farm is located at Akotsi Junction, after Kasoa, about a 1.5h ride from Accra. I’m here for any further questions :)
-Milani Planet
YESSSS😍
Where do you ship the pineapples to? Aren’t any companies in Ghana that buys them n make juice from them?
@@isaacgyasi7527 we ship them worldwide. And yes we supply our local market as also juice factories.
@@setarehmilani7446 you guys are doing a wonderful job by the way. I’m in states n looking for an investment opportunity. have you thought about making juice from it yourselves? There is more profit from the finished product than the raw material. I get it if you want to stay in your lane by being a farmer instead of a manufacturer. Much
@@isaacgyasi7527 thanks so much for your message, much appreciated. Actually we had a factory some years ago but back then the juice business wasn’t like today. Starting with juices or even dried fruits would definitely be a success and something we could work on.
This is impressive... most Ghanaians don't know this...keep opening our eyes to appreciate our own country. I gave you 10/10 for this video ❤️❤️❤️
When I saw you were here on stories I was SO EXCITED to see this video from here. I wanna see it in real life 🤩
It’s so beautiful 😍😍 can’t wait for you to see it in real life!
Vanessa, I’m waiting for u to come and visit🥰
Vanessa after Ghana u come to india
So this is where Vanessa got inspired to visit hein 😆
I actually watched Vanessa's video before.
I can't wait to get to this farm... and all this thanks to 3 wonderful ladies who were ready to shine the light.
Thanks
I watched your video and this is second time I am watching hers. Love from Sunny Barbados 🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧
Many young graduates consider farming as poor man’s job . If the youth of today can go into farming. We won’t see huge numbers of Unemployment in Africa. GHANA and Africa is at large is blessed . God Bless GHANA, God Bless Africa and the world at large . God Bless you for such a wonderful video!!!
The government here in Ghana doesn't give support to farmers... That's what the mentality is that way
Hi
Thanks for the series of videos on farms in Ghana. Interesting to see the inside economic processes of Ghana.
I'm glad for countries when they have a particular thing to export (cocoa in Ghana).
Please i need more of this. I like farming and I want to go into it.
Yess love the automated process
It's nice to see Ghanaians running the operation. I hope Ghanaians own the enterprise.
I so much love seeing things like these coming from Africa.
I also like how ready and prepared they were to explain things to us
"Fruit... is just a fanciful casing full of water" 😂 made my day.
Kudos to Milani family. Very excited to see this video. Pineapple farming involves a lot of hard work and you have done it for many years😊
I love pineapples. So glad to see the processes involved before it gets to my fruit bowl
WATCHING FROM JAMAICA- IMPRESSIVE MASS PRODUCTION- KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GHANA
Pineapple is endemic to jamaica
@@lydiamoilwa6983 ❤️❤️
That man does such an amazing job explaining everything! Awesome content!
wonderful i enjoy this view everyday to work it really inspires to see such a farm they recently celebrated 25 years of operation and have developed the area with wonderful donations kudos
I love pineapple I was wondering how to grow them thank you 😊
Nice video . this a very big farm. its just sad that we don't have a single pineapple farm in the Gambia.
The GUY who explained everything is not just the guy. He is the AGRONOMIST, in charge for the whole production and the workforce.
Tell them Mama🥰
Is that suppose to change the fact that he's working for a foreigner in his own country? Thats the history of countries like Ghana. These foreign males come in, marry a native black female just so they can better exploit the country. Read the book: Daughters of the Trade. It tells you how these black females conspired with their foreign husbands to enslave black African men. Thats how the slave trade started. Nothing has changed in that regard.
Mama I sent you a mail oh
@BoogsyBrooks though you are giving true facts, what is your objective with the discourse?
Is it to plant seeds of discord between African employees and European employers?
How many Africans get married to Europeans and Americans and Asians only for the sake of gaining the nationality. I believe the ratio is higher than the "whites" that do same.
Do you know that there are African bosses employing Asians, and Europeans and Americans in their own countries?
Should they resign because the company is owned by "foreigners"?
I think you should reconsider your position with regard to neocolonialism and the fight thereof.
Wow, congratulations to the owners of this farm. I am also a pinneaple farmer in my country Cameroon, this video motivates me alot as this is the level of production at which i am aiming at, including juice production. I will like to visit this whenever i come back to Ghana, my second african country. Kudos Goto Williams amazing video👍👍🇨🇲
You can do it! Thanks for watching
Keep going and you are more than welcomed to visit🤗
hello Nelson, where is your farm located in Cameroon, please?
@@asirourimeshi6651 Hey Asirou, my farm is located in PK 27, closed to the city of Douala.
The only way to liberate our beautiful Motherland AFRICA from Neo-colonialism and the shackles of the WEST is to take CONTROL of ALL supply chains across all sectors!! Our Great Leader President John Pombe Magufuli's legacy is a template for AFRICA!!! ✊🏾✊🏾🔥🔥🔥
I’m happy to see you bring something from my territory !!
Gomoa East. This town is next to mine ❤️❤️❤️

@3:53 I n optimized waxing treatment could effectively control fruit ripening by delaying fruit color change, decreasing the respiration rate and ethylene production, decreasing content of organic acids and relieving the symptoms of internal browning of pineapple fruit. Waxing enhanced the relative level of pentose phosphate pathway of respiration and affected the enzymes involved in organic acid metabolism. Waxing also reinforced the antioxidant system and enhanced the expression levels of genes related to defense, such as PGIP. These results indicated that wax treatment could effectively improve the fruit quality, mainly through the reduction of organic acid content. Protects the fruit from degradation in and out during transportation and storage
• Delays IBS (internal browning)
• Prolongs shelf life and freshness
• Controls its weight loss and dehydration
• It can also be used to carry authorized fungicides.
Thanks much
This is amazing. I want to go into agriculture some day if I manage to get funding 🙏🏾
Try and visit Ekumfi also. And I will like to know the difference becuz I thought Ekumfi is the largest my dear

GREAT video. It was the kisses for me 😂.
This is pretty cool
I lived in Accra for 3 yrs, 1997 to 2000. I really like Ghana’s pineapples esp the Cape Coast variety, really tasty and less fibre.
Hi Marintia, nice farm with huge impact on community welfare. So what is the variety and spacing used. I see that is tramline or double row. Do they plant throughout the year? How long it takes to harvest
You did great b❤️❤️
Thank you ❤️❤️
This is my favourite fruit dear watching from England
Did you just kiss the camera?
Oh, God. My sides hurt 😂 I love it.

😍😍😍😍😍❤️
Baby are wonderful much love from here🇳🇬🌍
Excellent work!!!, Get dust coats or overalls for the workers.
This video is not only entertaining, it's also educational. This should be black people's number one priority: farming in all sorts of food categories. Our lands and farming them with a few beast of burdens will certainly sustain us in difficult times. Yes, we should still use beast of burdens because mechanical machines might someday become extinct. COVID-19 almost lost the entire world its material wealth. Just think of the countries in Asia that would lose their material wealth, they couldn't feed their families without going to war with Africans because the lack of good fertile, robust land they have overworked for centuries.
Besides, the air pollution in India and China is very hazardous. I'm not sure if Africans really realize just how much they are blessed to live on that continent. They have wild game and fertile land to sustain them for centuries, provided God blesses them with seasonal rains for vegetation for animal and planting veggies. Thanks for doing something I've always wanted to do: shed light on the importance of farming and the need to understand just how demanding a job it is!
Nice video. Do back up your work on an external drive as well as in the cloud. Stay safe. Respect and blessings.
"Fruit ....is just a fanciful casing full of water"🙂

As agricultural endeavors grow I pray people are learning Regenerative Farming practices as well as organic and other sustainable planting methods so the ground stays healthy and can produce for generations! Scripture is truth let it rest every 7th year. Thank you for the information, hopefully I can meet up with local organic farmers upon returning home.
