    Hi there! This video just popped up on my feed and I wanted to say that you’re doing amazing. I’m in my mid-20s now and also slowly transitioning into taking a more active role with my investments.
    Really appreciate you being transparent about your personal finances and I hope more people find this video :) wishing you the best!

      @@anukritiverma9199 hey!! Thanks for taking time to leave a comment, it’s nice to hear how someone else is in a similar situation & makes me feel less alone in the journey. Investing isn’t a walk in the park and I’m still learning a lot (when I can/am not procrastinating 😅). So glad that the content resonated with you. All the best for the future as well 🙌🏼

      HAHAH I hope so! There's always pros and cons honestly. It still feels like a hobby right now without the burden of money making, but of course it'd be nice to have passive income from the work some day. Nonetheless really appreciate you clicking and taking something away from it. Have an awesome day :)

      Actually I know the standard calculation for “net worth”. I ask only to confirm that when people say this term. There are always referring to this exact way of calculating and not some other definition that they have.

    • @lydiagan
      @lydiagan  9 месяцев назад

      hey Cavan thanks so much for dropping by! :)
      For me I think I considered starting pay based on 3 points: (1) market rate, (2) personal ability, and (3) needs/wants. Obv for (1) it’s crucial to have a realistic sense of what your degree n course can pull in the regular industries that you go into and also this can really give you leverage when going into negotiations because you have scientific (! Lol) and data-backed evidence. (2) now knowing the market rate, how does your own experience match up to the average? Do you have more than average to offer or are u maybe just looking for a median salary to chill? How much can u add value uniquely? Kinda gives you an idea of how much you can deviate. (3) all of this backgrounded on what you personally want and need- if your personal goal is to take no less than 6k for eg then that’s simply a benchmark non negotiable u have that can filter out all jobs < than that. Do you have parents or a family to take care of or other burdens?
      I think those were the main points I personally took into consideration and some food for thought although I am definitely no expert… hope it helped a bit 😁😁
