I've been absolutely loving your videos dude. The way you edit these make them feel so cozy and I always perk up when you upload a new video. Also it feels good to know I'm not the only one that bought Hackers on UMD haha
Love the cozy vibes your videos give bud! Keep up the good work. Hope your channel grows. Trying to find a copy of SH Homecoming myself! Recently found Downpour at my Salvation for 2 bucks!
@@collectorjohn9538 excellent taste! I’ve had a chance to watch some more of your videos and I really hope you keep at it. You are pushing the game hunting/collecting genre forward and it’s badly needed right now.
Nice video man! I'm from Wisco too! (About 20ish minutes between GB & Appleton) I go to start over games a few times a year. But, next time you're in the area I couldn't recommend Press Start Games in Neenah and Game Trade in DePere. These are the 2 stores I frequent regularly because of the owners and selection of games.
Great to see someone form my home state on youtube. Also love finding out about more gaming stores I need to check out. Great video and great pick ups.
Dang Dude, hitting all my nostalgia this video. Republic Commando is one of my top 10 favorite games hands down! I Love Hackers, it's just a fun time. I have seen that movie literally hundreds of times, so many that just listening to a line or two of dialogue, I can picture the scene in my head. I have it on my PSP for when I used to watch the PSP at work. I bought that Serious Sam game back when it was new, defiantly a fun game. Don't remember the load times though. I have been the lookout for the Serious Sam Collection for 360 at a decent price.
@@collectorjohn9538 Saw, cabelas african safari, ninja gaiden 2, aliens vs predator, and funny enough bully scholarship edition The alien vs predator is awesome cause you can play as either character
Very glad you included the stretch on 41 (I think?) of back to back to back adult video store billboards lmao. Wouldn’t be a drive to northern/western Wisconsin without seeing a minimum of 10 of those on the way haha
Awesome video John. I love the Original Xbox and Xbox 360. The Original Xbox is my favorite console of All-time. I love it so much that I collected a complete North American set for the Original Xbox. So many great classic titles were released on the Xbox. Star Wars Republic Commando was amazing and looks really good these days if you play it on the Xbox Series X. Serious Sam is great on the Xbox, I guess I'm a weirdo too as I enjoy it lol. I really enjoyed Alone in the Dark on the Xbox 360. I rented it back when it first launched and beat it. It's a fairly short game at only about 6 hours but it's fun, I eventually bought the copy I rented from Family video for cheap. I need to go back and beat it again as the last time I played it was probably 2010. It had some interesting puzzles, it's a Survival Horror title. I enjoyed the 3rd and 1st views as it gives the player some unique perspectives. I definitely recommend playing all the way through the game until the end.
Your pronunciation of Joan of Arc (Jeanne d'Arc) made me laugh! No idea they made a video game based on her! Halfway through so far, excellent video. The longer the better!
Nice pickups on what looked like a nice road trip! Always a good opportunity for game hunting! Castlevania games on GBA and even on DS are getting ridiculously pricey... at least they're good games! Always cool to find strategy guides in stores at a decent price! Great video and keep up the good work!
I’m personally a ps2 guy, but I love your platinum hits cases! Silver cases are so sick! Green is cool and all don’t get me wrong but you guys have a better alternative compared to our greatest hits red label for ps2 lol idk just my thought how silver is cooler!
I wish I don't spend all my gaming budget on Steam sometimes. I was never able to get into the Xbox generation, since the original never came over to where I'm living (Turkey), and 360 sold poorly so it's very hard to find what you're looking for here. I don't like watching rich people buy a shit ton of games in one go, since it makes me feel bad. I really appreciate your budget videos, sir. Don't ever lose the vibe you got here, since it's highly relatable to the weird people like me that spend stupid amounts of money on games that nobody cares for anymore.
I appreciate you watching and commenting, and I'm glad that my vids make you feel better about not having a ton to spend on games. You shouldn't have to!
Just finished binging all the videos I had missed for months, you're such a chill guy to watch, it's a lot of fun. Also count yourself lucky you skipped Eat Lead for 360, easily one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had, just an absolutely dreadful game. Of course, I was going for all achievements, which forced me to play on the hardest difficulty, so take that with a grain of salt lol. As for Alone in the Dark, I'm one of very few people who actually find the game to be a bit underrated. It's certainly a very janky mess that can even be frustrating at times, but the game has a lot of charm and unique qualities. It's sort of a survival horror, but you're not as limited on resources like you would be in RE or Silent Hill. I really like that the inventory system is what you're actually carrying in your jacket pockets. Also, some actions can only be done in first person, and others in third, so you're constantly switching between them. I'd say it's worth more of your time if you can stomach the jank.

I haven't played Indy on xbox, but I rented it when new on ps2. Good time as far as I can remember, but it's been like 20 years. I grabbed the Xbox version at goodwill last year. That looked like a good price at $55 for web of shadows! Just paid $100 CAD for one. A few of the Spiderman games have broken the $100 CAD barrier. I spotted the edge of time for (82.99?) in the video, sadly no deal on that. I need that one myself. I have had Alone in the Dark for many years now, been too scared to try it. I heard it's not good. I guess PS3 got the better (later, more patched) version. I like when you show off more from these stores, even if you don't play/collect the library shown.
@collectorjohn9538 7:09 not necessarily. Most likely these were at a GameStop at one time and sold super cheap. GameStops were throwing away cases like they were the plague to save floor space for newer games and relegated all those PS2 discs to a box on the counter at a cheap price. They did this with other console games as well. GameStop can die and I hope it burns in hell!
@collectorjohn9538 John, you gotta pick up eat lead the return of matt hazard, you play as a video game character in a video game its a very goofy shooter. Also, if you're looking for a solid game on psp, untold legends is a great rpg diablo type of game.
I'll gladly pay less for a game with no manual (depending on the game), but you can get a CIB copy of that game with a good manual for $45. If it was $35-$40 I would've considered it
