Got it💫 please use lower value for Max Displacement Time (for example 0.01). Unfortunately Time displacement effect is pretty heavy so for the tutorial I wasn’t able to use the best parameters 😅

thanks for the tut, when I use a video clip as the card, the time displacement is glitching the video (horizontal banding)... Any idea how to fix that? Since you have animated cards in the final result seems like it's possible. thanks.
Found my answers on Jake in Motion channel when he explains the time displacement effect... unfortunately I won't be able to use that with my videos that are 30fps.
If I am not mistaken it could happen with PNG because Ae isn’t able to “draw” extra information for the smooth rotation or check out a pinned comment to fix this problem ✨
it would be much better if you explained the logical part of it, why we doing so and so. Imo tho, the video is lit anyway, short, right, clean, straight to the point
@@lomi5hani442 a cheap way to make a fake thickness is to have many layers (10 should do for a card) stacked and positioned always 1 pix further on the Z axis, between your front and back cover (add the same fill effect to all these layers to colour the thickness of the card).

This tip works perfectly for 2 sides, if you need more, probably you have to work inside precompose to add more prints.

I did a tut with this effect as well. But this method is more flexible as for me. But you can choose anything that works well for your goals💅

I am using PNGs as my layers not vector like you, when the flipping happens the sides come off so pixelated, is there a solution?
The same thing happened to me, I used the motion blur effect, it worked pretty well
