You absolute fu****g idiot. Go look it up and do a little research before embarrassing yourself on RUclips comments. Seawolf GWS 26 3.5 NM MACH 2 Exocet MM38 22.5 NM MACH 0.9. FOOL.
@Renaissance_Kamikaze You really are an absolute fool. A couple of minutes of research on the Internet would give you the range of Seawolf GWS 25 as 3.5 nautical miles and Exocet MM38 as 22.5 nautical miles. Go back to your video games and stop bothering grown-ups.
@@stephennelmes4557wtf the seawolf has a 3.5 mile range How was this thing meant to survive the GRUK gap Like I get we teamed these up with Sea Dart armed Type 42 , and were for ASW but aside from point defence what was Sea Wolf meant to do My bad genuinely got my kit mixed uo
type 22 could not defend against a paint ball gun only time they went hot they ended up on the bottom as for the seawolf never known both port and stbd trackers working at the same time useless
As former type 22 MEO CMDR MEO Got my 4 ring working in and for Fost doing many work ups on various 22s you must be only who claims they were not very poorly equipped ordnance wise their ability to fight in the modern theatre was very limited I find it hard to take you seriously with the view you have displayed as for the bottom comment many of them now are on the bottom homes for many different types of Aquatic life..hence they were not fit for purpose ( criminally under armed ) hence retired well short of their service life. As an ex Weapon Engineering Artificer for 22 years. I never knew the grownups did so much !
It's a pity HMS Boxer had such a short service life, finally expended as a target. All batches of the Type 22 were handsome ships.
The Type 22s were great ships to serve on. Very roomy for the crews unlike the cramped Type 42s.
4:11 nice to see the DMEO has Mag loops on and bollocks to the ratings 🤣
Modern and technologically advanced he says standing in front of a 40mm Bofors gun from 1932.
my last sea going ship

3.5 nm for seawolf and 22 for Exocet, you're chatting shit
You don't have to be ex RN or a Naval officer to know that's bs

@Renaissance_Kamikaze A simple search on Google will give you the correct information on weapons ranges.
