I feel the same way, his acting was so authentic it moved me to tears several times and I barely ever cry. Really fell in love with Nick's character so quickly because of the amazing portrayal

There is something really special about an actor who can speak without saying a word. Everything about his portrayal was special and I hope that he has a long career ahead of him. He has a natural acting ability that most actors don't possess.

He is the perfect Nick Nelson. Nick is So important to us bisexuals fans. He is such an amazing character and he touched so many people. I was particularly scared about his irl adaptation, and I was ready to be a bit disappointed to be honest but Kit did a beautiful job! You can feel how much respect and love he has for his character and the story. He is brilliant (and God, so young). I'm so glad Alice and the casting team found this boy, feels a bit like fate.

I’m not kidding, I’ve watched heartstopper more than 10 times over the past week and all of kits facial expressions and reactions still give me chills. He’s the best possible person for this role I literally can’t imagine anyone else, none of the fancasts I’ve seen have even slightly measured up. Seriously love this show so much it made me cry throughout the whole thing. When I was like 12-15 I was watching international movies on illegal websites because America had no real gay movies where we’re the main characters and we have real stories and happy endings, even those were sad and slow burn stories. I can’t believe how lucky we are to have this sort of thing be produced on Netflix right now I can’t even put into words how cool this is 😭 I can’t stop watching it because this feels like a dream
yeah, i agree! especially the scene where nick runs to charlie’s in the rain, and he’s talking about being so confused. i related to that a lot and kit did that scene perfectly, it made me cry.
Earlier I felt like the fact that I've watched it all the way through 4 times was a bit excessive. Now I feel like a slacker.

Oh my god, same! *sobbing* I love him so much and this series has helped me realize so much about myself! He is the perfect actor for this role. I have all of the songs from the series in my playlist and pics of them as my phone backgrounds... I'm obsessed. One of my favorite scenes is the rain scene. Also, when Tara and Darcy kiss at the party to "Clearest Blue" oh my godddd the SHIVERS! I cry every time I hear the song :')
Agree with you on this. I rewatch Heartstopper many times for different reasons but my 5th one is dedicated solely to appreciate Kit's acting as Nick. He is so good!
Even if i‘m not gay or bi, this show did something with me. I‘ve rewatched it for like 8 times in one week. Its the most beautiful and heart warming show i‘ve ever seen and this will be my forever favorite thing in the world.
Kit originally auditioning for the role of Charlie is actually super funny and super Nick of him
No doubt, every director in Hollywood and beyond has an eye on this kid. He is THAT special. Got all the ingredients-to be a massive star. Seems genuinely sweet as well. The sky is truly the limit.

When you hear him speak you completely forget he just turned 18. He's so mature and articulate, I'm so impressed. I thought I was mature at 18 but hey, this is totally another level.
His jawline is the exact same as illustrated version of Nick. He is such a perfect Nick and I’ll never get over the perfection of this casting.

I don't understand why kit says hus hair doesn't look good cuz in my opinion his hair gives very strong 90s lead hero vibes like the iconic 90s hairstyle and i honestly swoon over it 😍😍😍 anyways Kit's hair looks absolutely fire and he's sooooo handsome , cute, well spoken and smart , always looking forward to this lad's work ☺️😉

They made the PERFECT decision when they gave him the role of Nick Nelson, I love the show so much it’s practically became a drug to me, I’ve watched it 5 times in a row.
He’s so polite and humble and well-spoken? For only 18 he seems so mature and so lovely. I admire him so much!
kit is just the perfect fit,, and the chemistry he shares with joe while filming is just identical to it in the comics,, 10/10 love this universe
This is the one show I have watched an unhealthy amount of times and still get the same twitterpatting feeling of being in love. From being happy to being extremely sad that I couldn’t be as brave as any of the characters during my chikdhood years, Heartstopper made me feel the emotions I kept bottled for so long as a closeted gay. I will definitely cry if they don’t get renewed for a second season.
I hope season 2 comes out soon and we don’t need to wait to long. I hope Nick and Charlie stay together.

Just finished watching the season, and it was such a beautiful show. Not gonna lie, I cried a lot, even at the end. Still crying. And like Seb and Carlos from High School Musical The Musical The Series, Nick and Charlie touched my heart and they helped me feel less alone, less invisible. Thank you Kit.
This actor is one to follow. He has a sweetness in the character he plays well. I look forward to following his career.

Kit is amazing in this series. He has the non verbal down. You can just see what the character is feeling through his facial expressions. He's really a great actor for being so young.
Kit, the things you do with your face when playing Nick are INCREDIBLE. Despite this being a completely different character it reminded me of Ian McKellen's Gandalf, who also carried so much of the story in his facial expressions. Great. Especially when you play Nick's confession at the beginning of episode 4 - it's all in your face: the confusion, the anguish, the wonder, the fear. The dialogue becomes unnecessary because your face says it all. But that's by far not the only scene. Also, I am really grateful that Nick was scripted this way that allowed you to play him in such an emotional way! Our movies are full of male characters with stern faces who shed the occasional lonely tear and then go back to business. In the way nick allows for and displays his feelings, he is a role model for boys and men of all ages and sexual orientation, I think. And you bring that across. It's when nick is the most emotional (und thus vulnerable in the traditional sense) that he is the strongest. Thanks a lot for this performance!

He’s literally the perfect cast for Nick! His acting is amazing and he gets his expressions and feelings across so well it was such an amazing experience!! Especially in scenes where he was confused or just pained, it really showed so well!

What I love so much about this is that not only because Kit is so articulate in his answers but the interviewer who also gave him such great and well researched questions! They’ve done a great job adaptating the comics and I believe lots of fans too can agree that the cast is perfect 💕 Can’t wait to see Kit (and of course other Heartstopper cast too!) in more roles in the future!

Kit Connor is in addition to his great acting talent. He sounds a from all his interviews very great guy, moral, authentic and down to earth. In all his interviews he spoke nicley about other actors and credited all actors with who worked with him. He also very wise of not make the fame get in in his head. I hope to see him in more films and plays and playing Bond hopefully .

Everyone is talking about how the cast is so good and I fully 100% agree! Kit really makes you feel as though he’s actually the emotions he’s feeling and he puts so much passion in his scenes! Of course everyone else was fantastic but he was a standout 🤩

I never thought I would fall in love with the series. It took me back decades ago to my high school memories like coming to terms with my identity, coming out to people who matter, dealing with the many issues that I faced and that many kids face today. These in turn, made me feel for the characters and eventually made me relate on an emotional level.

Kit Connor is incredible, what a great job and talent this actor has and he is so young, God they are barely 18 years old, I want to especially highlight Connor's professionalism, maturity and artistic ability, damn, what an incredible performance he has given us in this series, is that I never get tired of seeing his scenes, they are so eloquent, exquisite, gesticulated, he puts love and coherence in all his dialogues with his movements and expressions, the way in which the corner of his lips and the frown on his forehead combine for impeccable artistic performance. He definitely has an impressive career ahead of him and he's just starting out, and gosh the British accent, I'm so dying to see more...!!!

This was cathartic fir me, even after being out for 44 years.

What an excellent actor Kit Connor is, God and he is only 18 years old, if he continues with that acting quality and maturity I am sure we will see him more often and in larger productions, his role in Heartstopper was incredible, I immediately fell in love with the characters and I connected with his story, the work they have done is simply beautiful, I really want to see more of Kit and his career and conquer more hearts, he is so handsome!!!!
