"Don't get all sentimental about it, oh no." "I just crashed my car, and it got me thinking of you." Some of their songs seem to have multiple choruses as well. That's a part of the DGD "formula": A really catchy hook, woven with ridiculous individual technical skill. I could listen to any of their songs for hours.
You guys have introduced me to so many new bands and I can't thank you two enough for that. I have fallen into the metalcore genre and you two are the reason. Thank you again!

The entire video is slowly going deeper into a trip, so I'm not really surprised that drums sound vs visual mismatch. It could be completely intentional to progress through the trip.

Mothership is still their best album imo. From beginning to end, it just feels like the best album as a whole.
