I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $20k - $25k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year
i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations
The only issue you might have is the fear of missing out, just like everyone else. Bitcoin is doing the exact same thing it did in 2011, 2013, 2017, and 2021. Anyone looking at it a decade ago who bothered to spend a minute to understand the nuts and bolts of its design knew where this was going. Bitcoin cycle theory goes back to at least 2014. Same thing with logarithmic regression analysis to predict future mean Bitcoin prices. Both approaches have held up stunningly well over the last decade.
It may not be perfect money, but it meets all the criteria of money, and humans are responding to it the same way the same way they have responded to anything else historically which met those criteria: Durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply, and acceptability.
It doesn't matter if it's Bitcoin, Gold, Dollars, or Sea Shells.

Alts can rally, but not to the degree they did before. You can’t roll capital in an ETF into alts like you could with the underlying asset. The world is also realizing after a decade of getting scammed by altcoins that Bitcoin is the only digital asset that matters.

What I like about bitcoin is how I can actually calculate the value, it is a real asset that delivers cash flows, has very little speculation attached to its value, and is the future of value storage. The only problem I have is that it can go to zero overnight.

Already, Btc has become a hedge for whales because fiat value is declining due to inflation. Whales continue to accumulate. Especially after the halving, the BTC supply flow is getting smaller due to the reduction in minners' rewards. BTC will continue to rise if there is a correction of at least 5% to 10% after being bought back by the whales. Blackrock just suggests putting 28% of funds into BTC. It was a big party i tell ya. I sold my house in 2004 after the value of my house doubled,I mean it was unprecedented that the value of my house doubled in 8 years. And the buyers of my house were given a loan of 105% of the purchase price, Then I read that people had taken out balloon mortgages. Then, I was offered a "no doc" loan to purchase a condo. I mean the red flags were HUGE. there were signs of impending crash and it happened in 2008. I bought dip, made so much gains. That was when the party started.
