Been on MSC a few times. Start cruising in 1974, on Sea Escape, a 49 dollar day cruise to the Bahamas! About 30 plus cruises later, no better way to vacation.

Nice video. Did you get a feel for what the occupancy was on the cruise? Judging by the number of empty seats at some of the shows, it look like they were running around 50% or lower. MSC is still trying to get a foothold in the American market.

Honestly, for our sailing we didn’t see many kids around his age. Maybe because we went during the week. There are basketball courts, pools and a teen club area. I’m pretty sure he’ll find something to do. Hope you enjoy your cruise vacation. 🛳️❤️

Wow! I think we were on the same cruise as you guys. 5/20/24-5/24/24. Our room was on deck 11. We had a phenomenal time. We just weren’t pleased with the cleanliness of our room. I wasn’t a fan of the Comedy show, but I enjoyed most of the entertainment. I’m glad to see that you guys had a great time as well. We preferred the Main Seating to the Buffet. But each was nice. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I didnt understand the $250 thing could u explain to me what were u paying of. I have all inclusive will I still have to pay something even after I paid for the cruise?
The $250 was the gratuities for 2 people during our sailing. We decided not to put a credit card on file but instead do a cash account. If you do elect to do a cash account, the cruise line wants you to put a certain amount down per person/ per day to cover the charges. Hope this helps. 😃
I know you can have one sent to your room if needed, but no fridge? I wonder why they just didn't empty it out, instead of not giving you a fridge. Nice suite tho
There was a refrigerator in the room. When we first went to our room, it wasn’t 😀quite ready. So the cabin steward didn’t unlock it after the last person. When we came back from lunch, it was open and unlocked. It was stocked with different drinks and snacks. Of course, you had to pay for it but it was available at that time. 😀
@@4Love4Life oh ok, hopefully was there space for y'all to put your stuff in there. I know some mini bars/fridges like that have sensors, so it will charge you if you remove something, even if you put it back & it doesn't really allow you to use it
While your suite looked good, the technology in the staterooms on MSC’s older ships is a bit dated. No USB ports? A teeny-weeny TV that sits on a desk, which should have been larger and wall-mounted? C’mon MSC, step it up!
There was a refrigerator in the room. When we first went to our room, it wasn’t quite ready. So the cabin steward didn’t unlock it after the last person. When we came back from lunch, it was open and unlocked. It was stocked with different drinks and snacks. Of course, you had to pay for it but it was available at that time. 😀

Do I have to purchase the specialty dining? Or can I make reservations without the specialty restaurant package
The tables were first come first serve. They were set up on the back of the ship near the buffet.
There’s only one specialty dining restaurant on this ship. You can pre-purchase that for a better rate than on the ship. Hope this helps. ❤️
