THANK YOU SO MUCH , I just Bought a Hook2 7 triple shot less than a week ago, tried and tried calling Lowrance I got no one the card I bought was a 64gb and would not show up . I am not to Happy at all with Lowrance support right now . I was about to the Point to take it back to the store. Finally, I came across your Video I formatted it and it worked . The Book says nothing about this at all nor on there web page . I sure hope there Tec support is better then I have seen in this week . THANK YOU AGINE THAT WAS A BIG HELP JJ

Thanks for information. All my HDS live instructions say is you need more than 500mb. Nothing about a maximum. Lowrance instructions need improvement.

Just did the same. 64gig didn't work. Somehow got my front unit to do update but mid unit 5 hours later until I saw this vid. Thanks.

Good info. I don't know what it is with Lowrance they like the smaller cards when updating. Even the old Gen1's I had to use like a 6gig back in the day. lol

i have updated my hds gen 3 to 18.2 software and i no longer get any depth its shows ---- how can i fix it ?

I was totally flabbergasted - newLowrance. Ti2;, 128 GB SD Disk; tried downloading the Update and tried installing off SD Disk after downloading it on my PC. All I got was a message “waiting for 136 MB SD Disk.” Hello, I got a 128 GB disk. What am I missing here??? Then I came across your RUclips video and after following your suggestions every thing worked flawlessly. Thanks much! You would think Lowrance would have addressed this in their instructional videos.
