I lived in Lake Charles from 1986-1990 and it looks like it has really changed! Not really sure which I like best. L'Abuerge Lake Charles reminds of the L'Auberge we have here in Baton Rouge. That's a nice casino with some great restaurants. Pat Benetar played it one year and she rocked! Can't really pick a favorite, I might have to take a road trip back to LC and check them out! Thanks for the great video!
There’s a smoke free area at the Coushatta Casino in Kinder, LA but they only have slots, no table games in that area. None of the casinos in the Lake Charles have smoke free areas.
As being from lake Charles I like how comforting it is and so fun
Thank you for Watching!

L’Auberge and Golden nugget in Lake Charles is soooo much larger than L’Auberge in Baton Rouge but I’ve enjoyed them all.
Thanks for sharing that information. It has been awhile since I have been to the L'Auberge in BR.
Thank you for this video. I’m thinking of relocating to the area from California.
You should! It will be culture shock! Thanks for watching!
@@WhichPathTravelogueculture shock, huh? You think so?
Louisiana is very different from California. Not good or bad, just different.
@@WhichPathTravelogue I can’t wait. I hate it here. I was looking at the Vinton and Lake Charles area. Hopefully they have jobs out that way?
@@WhichPathTravelogueI like Laberge I mainly go there
The two resorts are essentially equivalent. I'm a local and go to restaurants and events at both.
I lost at both equally. 😀 thank you for watching!
@@WhichPathTravelogue I never been to golden nugget hotel or any restaurants but I played there sometimes
Did either of these casinos have smoke free gaming areas? Thank you
No, I do not believe that either casino has a non smoking area.
@@WhichPathTravelogue thank you. I enjoyed your review.

Lake Pree-ahn.
Thank you!
The casino floor is what’s floating. It was a law to be built on the water.
You are correct - the casino floor is floating, the rest of the building is on land.
