The trash on the beach is mainly because of high tide and low tide. During the high tide, the beach area is fully flooded, and when the waves retrieve, it deposits the garbage and water plants. Obviously, it is not an excuse for not keeping it clean. The general population in India doesn't think of making surroundings clean. Fort Kochi Beach is a city beach and not ideal for swimming ..the better beaches are in 1. Cherai 2. Marari 3. Varkala
