- How to apply a graphene ceramic coating (Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic) to your car. The paint correction on this Subaru wasn't that dramatic, but the Autumn Green Metallic paint popped so awesome after the CarPro Essence. The wheels had some fallout, but the Adam's Iron remover cleared that up.

Amazing job! You can definitely tell you love what you do and go above and beyond for the customer. Keep it up!
Thanks for watching and for the kind words. They are appreciated!
A Smart Tip, when detailing a heavy mudded vehicle, go to your ;local self-serve car wash and rinse the mud off there. Another tip, after I foam the the vehicle, let soap dwell, then I rinse before touch washing. More tips, after I coat the car with iron remover, let dwell, then wash in with microfiber towel, then rinse. I then wash with clay towel with soap, so both types of decontamination are preformed. I always polish all the glass when detailing. Excellent Job!
Not a bad tips my friend.
I don’t mind doing the details here and cleaning up after. Basically if a vehicle has carpeted wheel wells the floor is gonna be a wreck and since I film all the details, might as well stay as consistent as possible with lighting. Since I use CarPro Lift as a pre wash, I typically don’t rinse after the foam cannon. I’ve tested multiple ways and it seems to work out decent both ways for sure. Some of the iron remover recommends washing it in, some doesn’t. I haven’t done it that way with Adam’s but I used to do it with Griott’s and performance was similar for sure. Polishing glass is a must on vehicles that aren’t brand new. I will almost always at least polish the windscreen, but brand new I haven’t needed to as much. I did on the Maverick I posted a bit ago because of some hard water.
I appreciate you taking the time to post your methods and I appreciate you watching the video.
@@P4SDetails thank you! Have a Decent Day!
I’m looking forward to seeing the super muddy truck, but let’s be honest, I look forward to all ur videos because of how humble and excited u are at the same time. U somehow find a way to be a little educational in explaining the products and how to use them while still making it seem like ur talking to an old friend instead of just sounding like a robot reading the directions and just trying to elaborate on them. It’s always fun to see ur videos.
Well I appreciate that homie. Seriously. There are times when it is hard to film while detailing and edit and all that. Support from awesome peeps like you make it all worth it.
That truck was… on another level. I took a trees worth of bark out of the bed ha ha. My life was a wreck. I started at 3:30 PM and finished at 6:19 AM the next day. It was brutal.
@@P4SDetails it may sound weird but I was sitting outside looking at my wife’s car the other day admiring how good it looked after a simple rinseless wash with ONR and started to think to myself that I wished I had a garage I could go out put on some music and just spend hours detailing the car or my truck or anyone else’s car. I don’t sleep very well as it is ever since I got out of the military, so I feel like being able to have a car in the garage for a couple days would be awesome, I could just go lose myself in the detail and I wouldn’t have to worry about weather or neighbors getting mad. I know it’s hard work but I feel like having the ability to spend 10-20 hours on a car would be therapeutic in a way. I can’t imagine how annoying filming can be and I don’t much about editing, I’ve made a few short mountain biking videos and posted them but all I had was the GoPro app on my phone to edit them. I always forget to get before and after pics most of the time. I’d love to make detailing videos and grow my channel to the point I could do the details for free and just make money of the channel but I know that is actually way harder than most make it seem. With all that said I will support u and ur channel along with the few other channels I watch because I know even though you all make it look easy and fun it’s not easy and isn’t always as fun as it may seem.
@@MegaChevy25 doesn’t sound weird at all my bru. I remember back in the day when I had to wait for the shade of my giant pine tree to cover the driveway so I could detail and not being able to detail in the winter. The garage was a game changer. Now I am looking at house plans and houses with three car garages so I could possibly upgrade one day in the future. Some serious lifestyle creep there.
It’s fun, but a challenge to remember the before and afters. Filming adds a couple hours to my details and then editing can be another 10-20 depending on the video. I think it is worth it though.
Growing the channel has been harder than I assumed it would be. I didn’t do anything on social media before and I arrogantly assumed that I could just make videos and it would grow organically. Now that I am nearly a year in and the channel is still tiny, I know that it was a bit overconfident to just think it would work out quick. It’s been fun though. I like the community that RUclips is helping me build. Realizing that there are things out there I didn’t know and products to make like better for detailing and all that pretty much rocks!
Love the energy
Thank you! And thank you for watching.
Dude. That paint went from shiny to BLING! wow. So surprised at how reflective that paint got. Well done amigo!
Thanks home skillet.
It was soooo much fun to work on metallic paint again. Needless to say I was impressed with the Suby paint.
Really wish we could find a detailer like you near San Diego but sadly I’ve found no one near your caliber
Well I really appreciate the support! I would love to get you hooked up. If you ever come through Utah, I will get your rig perfected.
I really like that car too, the colour was amazing and really suits that Subaru. A very cool detail 😎 👌
Totally agree on the color. A Subaru Wilderness trim with that Autumn Green was such a wonderful combination.
Glad that you enjoyed.
I feel like I need to take notes while watching your videos because there are so many comments I want to make. I really like that over the last few videos, multiple Bs has become a thing, along with giving the camera a personality! It’s fun! Your videos are both very informational/educating, and entertaining! You truly are one of the best in the biz and I hope to see your channel grow like you dream of! An epic detail and another awesome video! Can’t wait to see all the mud come off the truck in the next one!
Well, I do tend to talk a lot! Pen a paper might be necessary ha ha.
Totes appreciate the support and I am glad that you enjoy. This is fun. Taxing at times, but awesome fans make it worth it.
Great job man had a blast watching you treat that Subaru to the works!
How was applying the coating to the trim? We're they're likely getting a Forester Wilderness and it has heavily textured plastic cladding, even more texture than the Outback Wilderness.
In my research I've been reading horror stories of coating brand new plastic trim and having them go milky within a few days or up to a year later so I'm trying to avoid that at all costs thanks again!
Applying it to the trim is much easier and more forgiving than the paint. I sometimes go through the paint and then go back and to the trim. Just make sure if you do it that way, you need to level and wipe off if you tap the paint on accident. Don’t want a high spot.
This coating will last a little while on the trim. Trim is so porous that it just doesn’t respond to the Graphene like paint does. However, I would start with this coating and then in a year or two, when the effects wear off (could be longer), I would consider Ceratrim from the Last Coat (cheaper) or DLUX from CarPro (bit more expensive) Ceracote has a product too, theirs is cheaper, but doesn’t have the performance of some of the others.
I kinda miss my old Subaru Legacy. Should I get another Subaru in the future?
Too broad my homie. There are a ton of incredible models out there from every manufacturer. I think everyone is offering a few models that could be as fun as your old Legacy. It’s just too difficult to say this or that are going to fit the bill perfectly.
What i say you are the best 😊😊😊😊👍👍👍
Hello from Germany
I appreciate the support bru. Thank you!
What he said!! ☝️💯💯
Another great video. Quick question have you ever done a ceramic coating outside? If so which coating did you use? or would recommend for those that may not have access to a garage.
I have absolutely done one outside. You can pull it off with Ethos or the OG Adam’s Graphene. CQ Quartz can be done too. Basically any coating but the technique changes. I would work in smaller sections because it will flash super quick. You gotta do it out of direct sunlight though. Do you have an Easy up or can you do it in the afternoon. Prep work can be done in normal shade as much as possible but the ceramic has to be done out of the sun.
@@P4SDetails Thanks. I have a shades area that I can do it in but will be using Adam's graphene. At least that is the plan. I felt that it could work in theory but haven't seen a lot of videos demonstrating it with a coating vs a spray.
@@The_Planted_Eye_1 so you are gonna do the full coating? I always recommend the Adam’s Grapahene. I have one on my Atlas and it is going three years strong as the day applied. Seriously.
@@The_Planted_Eye_1 biggest thing is prep work and keeping it dry during the chemically curing period.
How much time does this job took approx?
Started at 5:30PM first night and went until 1 AM ish. Helped a neighbor from 7-9:30 AM and then started again and I was done by 4 PM. 13 hours ish. The night I was bouncing in and out checking on my boys though, so that was a very sporadic day. Brand new cars that only need a one step are usually around 10 hours to do it right.
nice job
you are funny too
Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it. I love making the videos, and playing around with it is just a blast!
