If I were beginning and wanted to do this type of portrait work I'd buy a used full frame a7III and first choice of lens would be the Sigma 85 1.4 (new or preferably used) and if I wanted to spend less either a used Sony 85 1.8 or Viltrox 85 1.8.

If this is what you need the camera for, you don't need to spend this much money guys. Just use your phone and less clothes. People won't care about the quality of the photos.

*The 50mm 1.8 is great choice for portrait also the Sigma 16mm 1.4 but make sure to buy Sony compatible version*
The Sigma 56mm 1.4 is such a great lens either on APSC or Micro 43 ! It’s perfect for half body shots
