Miss Calderon has the perfect height for standing climbs. Her legs are perfectly vertical when she cycles downward, which liberate tension on her knees. She leans heavily forward her handles when climbing, which put her parallel to the pedals, also preventing leaning backward. And finally she doesn't sway her bike too much, it's more her body that does the left to right movement. In the long run, I wonder she won't have shoulders or wrist issues. Not sure any bigger person can keep this position for long. Happy her crash wasn't serious. Still daunted by the lack of officials. I have seen more of them in races in Argentina/Michigan. There not UCI.
Indeed, her technique is flawless, well, at least looking from aside it even looks easy, haha! BTW she has some aftermath thoughts in Instagram about the crash. In regards to officials - dunno, it feels that there were not that much dangerous places. And in most tricky ones someone been there most of the times, thus for me it was and looked ok.
Superb race :) what software are u using to create such nice overlays with speed etc? It looks u are using Wolfpack speed tires. Are riding full suspention bike ?
Hey, thanks! 1. I have my own custom solution for on-screen overlays (After Effects & Scripting) 2. I used 2.4 Wolfpack Speed on front - said it in the past, but can now can say it with high confidence - it is terrible tire on hardpacked/loose over hard, dry. Will create a video about it too! 3. Riding Scott Spark RC Pro from 2022 !
