Ingredients:
1 pound (1/2) kilo of lean ground beef
3 cloves finely chopped garlic
1⁄2 small finely chopped onion
1⁄4 cup bread crumbs
1 large egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
For the Sauce:
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Additional Notes:
Ground Meat: You can use any ground meat of your choice for this recipe. Ground beef, turkey, chicken, or a combination of meats work well. Choose leaner cuts to keep it healthier.
Breadcrumbs: Breadcrumbs help bind the meatloaf mixture together. You can use store-bought breadcrumbs or make your own by processing stale bread slices in a food processor.
Vegetables: Sneak in some extra nutrition by adding finely chopped vegetables to the meatloaf mixture. Carrots, onions, bell peppers, and zucchini work great. Sauté them before adding to the mixture for enhanced flavor.
Seasonings: Experiment with different herbs and spices to personalize the flavor of your meatloaf muffins. Some other popular choices include, dried oregano, thyme, etc.
Make-Ahead and Freezing: These meatloaf muffins are perfect for meal prepping. Once baked and cooled, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months. To reheat, simply pop them in the microwave or oven until heated through.
Serving Suggestions: Serve these Dollar Wise Meatloaf Muffins with your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh green salad. They also make great sandwich fillings or protein-packed snacks on the go.

So delicious love making these , and make different meal plan for the week and freeze ...have a wonderful day Dave ❤
Thanks so much, Natalija. Yes, great idea. You have a super day too.
Very funny yummy,yummy
Dave this is totally magic ❤❤
Thanks so much. It is really good. Hope you try them.
I used to make those. Don't know why I stopped. I think it was when my metal muffin pan wore out. I have a silicone one now & you've inspired me to do this again! Leftovers are the perfect size to slice & make meatloaf sliders. I have used pork & beef mixed which is good. And I've used Turkey mince as well. Good, too but I think plain ol' beef mince gives more of that classic meatloaf taste. Love the hat.
Hey Kathy. Great. Yes, the pan you have should be fine. Great idea on the pork mix. I thought that would be good too. Had to show the hat. LOL.
I love these little cutie ❤️👍😋
The are so good, Siew. Hope you try them.
Looks so delicious.
Thanks, Jonathan.
Thank you sir. Always making my breaks/lunch hours at work more tolerable.
At my next door neighbours house and I can smell something that is incredible and I've never experienced that scent before. She made a meatloaf with Stove Top chicken stuffing mix. I despise Stove Top stuffing but could not get over how great this smelled. I took her recipe and changed it for my family...
Using ground pork, egg, onions, s&p, and Stove Top chicken stuffing (not the turkey) I mixed it together and made it in a muffin pan. I used a VH teriyaki sauce for the glaze. (eventually I added a bit of teriyaki sauce to the pork mixture) and it came out amazing. Served with mash and veggie everyone enjoyed it and yes, you can definitely freeze the individual meat muffins for future use. In the case of your ground beef recipe I think you could even add some shredded cheese atop the muffins in the last 10 minutes of baking. Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention.
Wow. I never thought of that, but I’m going to try it for sure. Thanks for the great info.
Dave, great unique, tasty meatloaf recipe, budget friendly & these would be good on a bed of smooth whipped potatoes , with peas on the side. Yes on us & big yes on the girls , I don't know about Canada but here folks like mini things, especially collectibles by collectors. I have seen individual mini meatloaf made in appx. 3 x 5 pans but not muffin style. A tip I can give to folks is don't over work your ground meat mix for meatloaf, burgers, salisbury steak, etc...just easy fluff mix with your hands in a bowl, I have seen folks work the meat to death, squishing it through their fingers etc... & your meat will be tough & hard when cooked. Keep your stick on the ice pal
Again, some great ideas here, Steve. Agree on all of them. See you at the next meeting my friend.
@@TheCooknShare thank you & you are welcome pal, see you at the lodge
These are very creative😎... Love your recipes ❤
Thanks so much. Hope you keep watching and cooking.
I'm not a meatloaf fan but these look good. I'm gonna have to put them in something else but I'm sure they will be good. I might have some time to catch up on some videos this weekend. Thanks for the idea.
Hey Becky. Yes, I think you'll enjoy them. Sure, catch up when you can. Hope all is well there.
For breakfast? Oh, yes. 👍
With eggs, for sure.
I've sometimes made meatloaf with a mix beef, pork, and lamb, generally the same mix I used for meatballs.
I suppose it would be good. Thanks.
I'm trying this next time, because sometimes you just don't feel like cooking, I put a little brown sugar in the ketchup topping. Another great idea.
For sure, Carole. Hope you enjoy this. Let us know. Hope all is well.
I used to make meatloaf muffins all the time for my grandson when he was little. I started it originally because of how quickly they cook. You don't have to wait an hour for dinner to be ready and he loved it.
That's so true, Lynne. I find they are just as good too. Hope you are well.
Yes it really is just as good. You cannot taste the difference between one that you cook for an hour and one you cook for 20 to 25 minutes. I love your recipe it's got different flavors than I put in mine. Stay safe, and be well.
Yumo
That kind of sums it up. Thanks.
I use stouffer chicken stuffing instead of bread crumbs. It makes the meatloaf so moist.
Now that's a good idea, Don. Thanks.
G’day guys. Your recipe is pretty much identical to what I use to make meatballs and rissoles (hamburger patties). Yes you absolutely can use lamb, pork, chicken or turkey! I’ve even used kangaroo which is a great source of protein but found it needs a bit of added fat or it’s too dry.
Hey Glen. Thanks so much for the input. I have to try different meats. Hope you are well.
i save leftover meats ; anything-then grind and add; always works
Great idea. Thanks so much.
Ketchup is NOT everyone's favorite condiment. Some of us prefer mustard! I usually have 3-5 kinds in the fridge at all times! But the Worscershire (I can say it, can't spell it!) is a true MUST HAVE.
True. I do love Worscershire sauce too.
Dave, btw fine to use my name on your show anytime , keep your stick on the ice pal
Great. Thanks, Steve. See you at the lodge.
@TheCooknShare you are welcome pal, lodge it is for fun, lol
Those r meatballs lol
