Supercell, a giant cloud monster

Supercells are a form of thunderstorms with rotating updraft clouds that form strong tornadoes. During the cloud formation process, the rising air currents at the center of the mesocyclone make it look like a large pillar. Supercells form one or more tornadoes and are accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain.
